News of Janet Jackson’s split from her husband Wissam Al Mana caused quite the discussion on social media. In fact, despite Janet amassing her own wealth thanks to a successful music career, some have been calling her a gold digger and accusing her of only getting married and pregnant for money.
However, one of her close friends is clapping back at those who believe that theory.

Nothing but ignorance. They have been trying to tear her down since the Super Bowl incident. I’m over it.

People are so ignorant. Janet doesn’t need a dime from anyone.
I just think people are followers and they want to jump on the bash Janet bandwagon. She’s a legend though and they can’t take that away from her.
Are these people really young or something? Janet is a legend. She was huge in her prime and she has made a lot of money. How can she be a gold digger when she has her own?
I don’t think it’s really an age thing. I see grown people who should know better slandering Janet on Twitter. Like Janet wasn’t making millions decades ago. LOL.
It’s nice to see someone defend Janet for a change. She’s been punching bag since that halftime performance while JT went unscathed.
