Recently, Miss Kitty hopped on Instagram Live and claimed that her storyline with Cease is completely fake.
In fact, she claimed that not only is she really not sleeping with Cease in real life, but she pretty much just shows up to the shop and films scenes the producers ask her to.
Dutchess even claimed in an interview that the show is losing its authenticity and that’s why she tried to talk Cease into just walking away from it all.
However, he chose to hang on to the show, and a spinoff is filming in Atlanta.
Now Dutchess’ mother is calling out VH1 and she claims producers are trying their hardest to make Dutchess look bad with fake storylines:

I understand her frustration. Anyway, I like Dutchess. I don’t understand why so many people don’t like her.
I like her too. If the only thing they can talk about is her lips while she’s out here being an entrepreneur and her when boss, then more power to her.
They don’t like Dutchess because she isn’t as ratchet as the others. For some reason when it comes to reality shows, people only like you if you’re ratchet and classless. Dutchess has sense and a college degree and she was able to make something out of herself outside of the bull. They hate her for that because VH1 is the only way any of those clowns are eating. Cease too. No one actually goes to any of his shops for tattoos. 113th is closed most of the time, so when they do tattoo people, just know it was staged by VH1.

This used to be one of my favorite reality shows but then it became painfully obvious that they were going into the Mona Scott direction and things have gotten really fake ever since. I hope Dutchess doesn’t do another season for her own sanity.
