Dutchess decided to step away from television after her messy breakup with Ceaser.

Black Ink Crew” star Dutchess didn’t have the best departure from the show. Her breakup with Ceaser was very messy. The others in the shop had no problem choosing sides. The majority of them sided with Ceaser. And they made it clear that they weren’t too fond of Dutchess. She began to feel very isolated. As the number of allies she had decreased, Dutchess didn’t want to remain on the show. Although she did consider taking Ceaser to court to get what she felt she deserved for helping him grow his businesses, in the end, Dutchess left the show without Ceaser’s money.

She would later open up about her time on the show in interviews as well as her appearance on “Iyanla: Fix My Life.” There she admitted to having past urges to kill herself. She said that some of the negative comments written about her on social media had taken a toll on her mental health.

Regardless, Dutchess has no regrets about walking away from “Black Ink Crew.” She didn’t like how producers did things back then. So she was inspired to start her own production company. That way she could do things the way she wanted to from a producer standpoint.

Interestingly enough, she had a few more things to say recently about her time on “Black Ink Crew.” She opened up about her biggest regrets.
