Bambi has a lot of opinions when it comes to her relationship with Lil Scrappy and how things work when it comes to filming “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”
In fact, she didn’t hold back in her recent interview with TMZ’s Raq Rants.
Here are the highlights of the interview.
On her on and off relationship with Lil Scrappy, Bambi says he just cared way too much about his LHHATL check:
“I ain’t never really have a problem with him, believe it or not, with other girls. That’s never been an issue with us. When it comes to the show, it’s just too much for me because it doesn’t really capture what’s real for us. And he likes to play…he likes to play…And I can’t do it.
“It was probably like three or four weeks ago when they showed the episode about him and the move to Miami and all that sh*t. So he was supposedly about to move to Miami and all this. But the whole time, we’re living in the same house. And I’m just like I’m not about to play these games with you for TV.”
She also confirmed that she did not return the engagement ring.
Bambi also further explains her issues with how things were edited for LHHATL:
“Oh, it’s cool. He’s not a bad person, I just really wish we could have been able to capture the true dynamic of our relationship.
“‘Love and Hip Hop,’ they want these things to look like either you’re a girl on there being hella messy, or you’re getting cheated on, right? I’m neither of those people. I’m not sitting up talking bout dumb sh*t all day long. And I’m not just being a dumb little chick that’s being cheated on. Our issues was him just being unstable.”
As far as their routine of breaking up and getting back together, Bambi claims it’s not going to happen this time:
“We do break up all the time but this time it’s a little different because right before we broke up this time, we were going to move into a different place. We were going to move closer to the city…but a couple days before we started moving and sh*t, somebody called me and said, ‘You know Scrap is supposed to be filming Love and Hip Hop Miami?’
“So I’m like , ‘Are you really trying to move to Miami? He’s like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t know what I’m doing.’ He’s like confused now.
“So I’m like, ‘Well I don’t want you to be confused, so I’m just going to make this decision for both of us. I’m not f*cking with you. I’m just not going to do it because you’re not about to be sitting up here wavering back and forth with me.’ But at the end of the day, Scrap is just very confused right now with his life. He doesn’t know if he’s going or coming…”
She says the final straw was when her mother had to come help her move Scappy’s stuff out their place because he never showed up to get his things.
On Erica Dixon, Bambi says:
“And that’s the thing too. We never had like any type of interaction outside of the show. I would go to Emani’s school events, birthday and it was like we ever had any type of issue. We didn’t really acknowledge each other. I would be there, she would be there…it would just be that. But when it comes to TV, they want to make it like we beefed out.
“There’s so much as a woman that I could have said when her and Scrap were together, all this was before me and him even got together. But I didn’t want to f*ck with him then so, I could have been like,’You know your baby daddy is this…’ but to me, it just means that you obviously still feel some kind of way.”
She threw a little shade to Momma Dee too. When asked if she has any beef with Momma Dee, she says:
“I wouldn’t say mad but some of the sh*t that he be doing, I be like, ‘N*gga, who raised you? Oh, okay I get it.'”
Bambi also confirmed that she is quitting LHHATL:
“No I am over it because I feel like if it was able to actually capture what was going on with me, I would be cool with that. But it just doesn’t.
“I wouldn’t do that show again. Especially, not with Scrap. It just doesn’t do well for me and him because he wants to be in every scene. He wants to do all the mix, you know what I’m saying? It’s super like…that’s his sh*t.”
And when it comes to “Basketball Wives,” she stays true to wanting to return to have Malaysia’s back:
“Sometimes I do, because I f*cking hate watching my friend in these situations. Hate it so much… “

How can she go back to BBW if Malaysia and Brandi are pretty much fired at this point?
I don’t think Malaysia was fired. Just Brandi.
I remember when Bambi told Erica at the reunion that she needs to keep it cute because she’s the one who was over Scrappy’s finances. It’s funny to see her have to eat crow now. Erica tried to tell her Scrappy was a bum and wasn’t paying child support but she kept dealing with him anyway because she wanted a spot on the show. Now she sees it wasn’t worth it.
My thing with Bambi is she’s known for years now how Scrappy was. So don’t try to shade him now.
It sounds like Scrappy is the one who ended the relationship so he could make some money in Miami. He just didn’t tell her and she had to find out from somebody else. He’s been acting like he was over her for a while now.
It always seemed like to me that Bambi only dated Scrappy so she could get back on television. So if that is the case, she can’t be mad that he decided to advance himself and do the Miami show. Both of them come off as opportunists to me anyway.

It’s always so weird when women brag about collecting multiple engagement rings.
