Draya’s final season on “Basketball Wives LA” was full of drama.
Not only did she get backlash for telling Brandi Maxiell that her story of surviving cancer was boring to the viewers of BBWLA, but she ended up having a fallout with her former bestie Malaysia Pargo.
Then of course, her on and off relationship with Dallas Cowboys player Orlando Scandrick became a hot topic on the show because Jackie Christie’s daughter Chantel Christie claimed she had a thing with Orlando while he was with Draya.
Draya decided to leave the show in order to focus on her career and protect her relationship with Orlando. Since then, Mint Swim has become a massive success.
However, she’s been accused of not using dark-skinned models to promote the line quite a bit on social media.
Apparently Draya has had enough of the criticisms:
Damn really Draya? I get that she’s tired of people bashing her about this but this is not how she should have responded.
She really needs to stop responding if she’s not going to do so intelligently.
People stay dragging Draya for this but it’s not going to make her change up anything. So I suggest people channel that energy into creating their own swimsuit line so they can in turn hire the dark skinned models they want to see.

Its time to move on, damn people be so pressed for somethin to say about her. She isn’t the first and she isn’t going to be the last to not hire darker women
Why did she even respond?
Why does she keep doing this? She’s going to mess around and get her company boycotted. Then she will blame it all on dark skinned women when she should have been more professional and responsive to complaints.
I’m so tired of the light vs dark debate. Hell we are all black and neither is better than the other. Fair representation is only right. Draya’s business could thrive even more if she got over her ignorance and used some dark skin models too.
Smh just wrong on so many levels. She was better off not saying anything at all.
