HBO just released the trailer for the second of “Insecure.”
Last season viewers witnessed the breakdown of Lawrence and Issa’s relationship as a result of Issa cheating with her ex boyfriend from high school.
Many were hoping Issa and Lawrence would get back together in season two, but it appears both will instead attempt to move on while making sense of their split.
In the trailer, we see Issa’s hilarious attempts to move on and date other people. Her best friend Molly, played by Yvonne Orji, tries to help Issa with her love life, but is also dealing with the fact that her white peers are making more money than her.
Lawrence is getting adjusted to life without Issa but a friend of his is quick to point out that he isn’t blameless when it comes to the demise of the relationship.
The 90 second trailer is a hilarious taste of what to expect July 23.
