Andy asks Karen about her Grand Dame title.
Charrisse says she feels like Karen isn’t the Grand Dame of anything.
“You know, living in Potomac, people have planes, they have multiple homes. So to call Karen a grand dame, it was like, not a “dame” thing, because she doesn’t compare.” – Charrisse
Karen says Gizelle is the one who gave her the title, and she’s not ready to give the title away to anyone else in the group.
The ladies then discuss how odd it is that Karen moved to Great Falls, and Karen gets emotional and says that she moved for her parents because they don’t like Maryland.
“This is a very sensitive thing. I had a very bad argument with Ray. I was like Ray I need to at least go to Great Falls for at least a year or two. And the reason why I wanted to go to Great Falls, both of my parents are sick. I have every reason to try and move my parents in with me.” – Karen
When Andy points out that Great Falls is ten minutes away from Potomac, the other ladies start to side eye Karen’s excuse.
“I don’t understand any of this.” – Gizelle
“It’s bullsh*t.” – Robyn
Andy asks Karen if her parents are going to move in with her, and she says she’s not sure because she’s still giving them time to decide.
Karen then points out that Gizelle should have at least called to check on her about it but Gizelle says Karen has been avoiding her.
“You’ve known me the longest. Karen, you called to say, ‘I don’t got time for you b*tches when we not filming. I don’t got time for you b*tches.’”
Karen says Gizelle is embellishing what she said but Gizelle disagrees.
“I’m not embellishing. I had a birthday party. Everyone on these couches showed up but you. Even Monique shows up, who I just met 18 seconds ago, I’m thinking clearly Karen, you’re gonna show up and not give me a cockamamie excuse as to why you didn’t.” – Gizelle
Gizelle then says that Karen instead went to New York to get some work done on her face and Karen calls her a “f*cking liar.”
Karen denies this and says she didn’t attend because she was with her mother. Karen also says her surgeon is local and not in New York.
Karen confronts Charrisse.
Karen tells Charrisse that she thinks it’s uncalled for Charrisse to put Ray’s name in her mouth.
There is then a flashback of Charrisse calling Ray the “Broke Bill Gates.”
Karen says that Ray is called the Black Bill Gates because he gave people in Potomac 300 jobs. Andy then points out that she was the first person on the show to call Ray that. When Gizelle says she’s going to keep calling Ray the Black Bill Gates, Karen calls her out for calling Ray Uncle Ben.
“No, you said you don’t call him Black Bill Gates. As a matter of fact, you said you call him Uncle Ben, which I think is an insult. And you need to check yourself.” – Karen
She also says she’s glad she opened up about being raped in college and Robyn says she was raped freshman year of high school.
They discuss what Ray told Gizelle about her love life.
The ladies agree that Ray’s advice was solid, a woman has to have more to offer a man than good looks. Later on in the episode, she confirms that she has a boyfriend named Sherman and they haven been together for a year. He introduces himself to Andy and the ladies.
Monique checks Gizelle.
In a flashback scene, Gizelle says she doesn’t want to be like Monique and have her livelihood defined by what a man has given her.
Monique then confronts Gizelle for saying that everything she has is because of her husband. She takes a shot at the fact that Gizelle was married to a pastor and their income came for tithes.
“Oh, Lord, there’s a lot of hypocrisy going on. First of all, the whole separation of my marriage between what my husband has or supposedly has and I have I thought was totally disrespectful. Anybody who’s been married knows that once you become one, everything is combined. So I would much rather be associated with my husband and his wealth, and that’s who I get my things from, than 10% of the tithe offerings from church going to whatever supports you.” – Monique
Charrisse and Gizelle throw each other under the bus.
Gizelle says she didn’t appreciate Charrisse comparing her to Monica Lewinksy and Charrisse apologizes. But Gizelle then says that the last conversation they had was via test messages when Charrisse cursed her out for the fireman story.
“This is the first time I’m hearing an apology and I appreciate it. But the last time we talked, or the last time you sent me a text, I was a lying effing, trifling b.” – Gizelle
“And rightfully so.” – Charrisse
Charrise explains the text.
“That text came after she said to Robyn that I told her I was cheating on my husband.” – Charrisse
“You had.” – Gizelle
“Gizelle, that is very damaging, to say that I told you that I cheated on my husband. She comes on ‘Watch What Happens Live,’ and tells you, ‘Oh Charrisse has a boyfriend.’” – Charrisse
“Was it a lie?” – Gizelle
“It was a lie, Gizelle. Come on.” – Charrisse
“Okay. So you’ve been married all this time, you’ve never dated anybody else? Is that what you’re saying?” – Gizelle
Charrisse denies dating other men while she was married and accuses Gizelle and her ex of sleeping around on each other.
“Gizelle, I know what you’re doing. You’re reliving your marriage, okay? When you and your husband were stepping out on each other. And he’s making kids with everybody with a skirt. So don’t put me in that category.” – Charrisse
“That’s not true.” – Gizelle
Robyn discusses her status with Juan.
She says that she’s been spending more time with Juan, and they occasionally sleep together. She also says that they are growing and she feels like they are in a much better place.
She also says what he said to the producers was blown out of proportion, and that he does want to be in a relationship with her.
“It’s funny because everything he said, we talked about that. But the tone, Juan’s tone and the way he delivered it, it just sounded more negative and as if he was saying something behind my back, as if I wasn’t aware of how he felt. But we’ve talked about that. He wants to be in a relationship. I’m not…I’m the one…I think people…I mean ideally it would be with me.” – Robyn
Andy tells Robyn that a lot of viewers feels like Robyn is more into Juan than he is into her.
“That’s not true. Honestly, we’re on the same page. He just does not enjoy filming.”
Ashley then says that Robyn shouldn’t stay with Juan just because she wants her sons to live in a two parent household.
“I think that Robyn should be happy, and not be in a relationship just because she thinks she should have a two parent household. Because really when he’s around, you do become a little more of a backseat person.” – Ashley
“How do you know? You’ve only been around us one time.” – Robyn
“I’ve seen it.” – Ashley
They discuss the fact that Ashley was told Juan was dating someone else and she claims someone she knows came to Oz to tell her.
Robyn gets frustrated and says that she wants America to know she’s fine and her issues with Juan aren’t as bad as it’s being portrayed.
“Why does everyone think I have to be in a relationship? I’m fine. America, I’m fine.” – Robyn
Monique has some words for Robyn and Gizelle.
Gizelle explains that she didn’t originally have an issue with Monique until her party.
She also tells Monique that she wasn’t trying to be shady when she asked her if she didn’t have a home.
Monique says Gizelle needs to stand by her shade and points out that she didn’t like the fact that Robyn told Gizelle that she likes to talk about herself a lot.
She then asks Robyn why she didn’t tell her that she had an issue with her talking so much and instead said that Gizelle was the one who had the issue when she did as well.
Charrisse and Monique tell Robyn that she changes up when she gets around Gizelle.
Andy reads a quote from Monique in which she states that Gizelle has a girl crush on Robyn because she feels she’s beneath her.
Ashley is put on the spot for stirring the pot the whole season.
A montage of Ashley being messy throughout the season is played and Robyn says that Ashley isn’t experienced enough to speak on other people’s marriages.
Charrisse then points out that Ashley is having problems in her marriage so she really shouldn’t speak on anyone else.
“Well you’re having issues in your relationship, but you walk around like you’re the expert in everybody else’s.” – Charrisse
Ashley then says she and Michael are taking steps to fix their issues, unlike Robyn and Charrisse.
“Well I’m taking action to fix my marriage, okay? I’m not going to sit in this bad situation for 20 years, okay? Unlike that what’s going on over there. If something’s wrong, I’m going to fix it.” – Ashley
This upsets Robyn and she then demands to know why Ashley keeps throwing jabs at her situation with Juan.
“Why are you so judgmental towards my situation? Why do you continue to slam me and my situation?” – Robyn
When Robyn points out that Ashley has never really spent any time with Juan to know how he really feels, but Ashley feels she can assess the situation just fine by what she sees on TV.
They then discuss Gizelle and Robyn teaming up on Ashley at Oz, and Robyn says the restaurant is the only place she could find Ashley.
Ashley admits that she wishes she would have handled the Juan situation differently when asked by Andy.
When asked about her status with Michael, Ashley says:
“I almost had an epiphany that I don’t want to not want to be with him, so whether we decide to stay together or not, we’ll be okay.”
Andy then goes to a break, and while they are on break, Robyn says that she would have beat Ashley’s “a*s” if the cameras weren’t rolling.
She says the following to Charrisse.
“She’s like really on some other sh*t. First she came for me, but then she’s coming for you…like attacking your marriage. And I’m like okay, she’s not coming from a sincere place. And seriously if there weren’t cameras there, I would have beat her a*s at that party. Like I can’t be beating people’s a*ses on camera but I wanna put her a*s in a headlock and tell her to shut the f*ck up. Phony a*s. She’s lucky those cameras were there.”
What are your thoughts on the episode?
How is Robyn more mad at Ashley than Juan, the man who actually dogs her out on a regular basis? Girl goodbye.
Exactly. Juan is the one she needs to put in a headlock. He has her out here looking stupid.
Thank you.
Robyn is deflecting. Ashley is not her issue. Juan is. There’s no way to defend the fact that he told producers that he would have left her by now if it wasn’t for the kids. It ain’t that he doesn’t like to film, he meant what he said.
And once again Robyn makes a fool out of herself.
Robyn just cannot handle Ashley’s mouth because Ashley said of stuff she knows is true.
Karen is such a liar.
Ashley needs to stop worrying about other people’s marriages and worry about that nasty emu meat and her sugar daddy finally bolting.
Why is the reunion already better than the entire season of RHOA?
This is a good a-s reunion.
Monique really held her own. I’m impressed.
