It’s no secret that the “Real Housewives” franchise is one of the most popular when it comes to the most watched reality shows, so it’s no surprise that fans of the series have a heavy presence on social media.
However, some fans of the show feel Bravo has been biased when it comes to promoting the primarily black spinoffs – “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Real Housewives of Potomac.”
Both shows bring in plenty of viewers, but many have argued that the network rarely acknowledges this, and puts the majority of its advertising budget towards the spinoffs with primarily white casts.
So it’s probably not shocking that RHOP star Monique Samuels has no problem calling out the bias of viewers when she feels the need to.

Nonblack women love to pretend we’re the only ones who wear weaves/wigs. And when you call them out for it, they love to play stupid.
I can’t remember who but one of the Atlanta housewives talked about this too. White women also wear weaves/wigs/extensions. Yet, black women have been made the mascots for it.
Welp. She’s got a point.
I hate when motherf-ckers play stupid.
I appreciate that she pointed out the bias. This happens way too often.
WEaves, wigs, eyelashes, fingernails they all get down black, white and green. My only peeve is stop wearing hats on top of weaves and please Cynthia stop with that floopy fro wig, it looks terrible. You need to know every compliment is not always sincere.
