Recently, Tyrese has been all over social media with his breakdowns about losing access to his daughter Shayla and “going broke.”
As as result of this strife, Tyrese claims many of his celebrity friends have reached out to him to support him in his time of need.
This apparently included Will and Jada, and he claimed in a recent Instagram post they gave him a 5 million dollar loan to help him pay his legal fees. But according to TMZ, this loan is a lie.
TMZ reports that representatives for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith say they never loaned Tyrese any money.
TMZ writes:
Tyrese claims Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith gave him a whopping $5 million so he could dig himself out of a financial hole from his custody case, but sources directly connected to both Will and Jada say it simply isn’t true.
Our Will and Jada sources say they did not give Tyrese any money at all.
Tyrese posted last Sunday that Will and Jada gave him the gift in return for him staying mum about his trial. Tyrese wrote, “You’ve guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughters legal fees will be paid. I will listen.”
Will and Jada have been friends with Tyrese for years, and we’re told they’re extremely worried Tyrese is having some sort of a breakdown.
In other news, Tyrese is clapping back to the criticism he’s received for saying he is broke. Recently on Instagram, a gentleman posted on one of his recent images, calling him out for saying he is broke taking a trip to Dubai. Tyrese claims it’s just a perk of being famous and he did not pay for the trip.
