Cardi B is no stranger to the headlines, and the up and coming rapper has made it clear that sometimes she doesn’t feel fame is all it’s cracked up to be.
With fame comes lots of criticism, and Cardi is always willing to clap back at her critics.
In a recent interview, she even has words for those who have something to say about how she talks.

I really don’t get the hype.
I don’t either. I am so lost. Why is she so huge now? I thought Remy would be the next one to blow up.
Remy made the mistake of going after an artist with an actual fan base. So most of her stans are really just Nicki haters. If you only like an artist to spite another, you won’t be motivated to actually buy their music. I think people genuinely do like Cardi and did before she blew up. But the truth will come out when those album sales roll in.
Her interviews are always…interesting.
Love her because she always keeps it real.
Mess.
Bodak Yellow been out how long and now they want to do a video? Anyway, I always have liked Cardi cause she funny as hell…but don’t let a video get you mauled sis, leave them animals alone 🙂
The video came out last summer but I have no idea why he waited so long to just now do an interview about it.
Cardi “keeping it real” and appealing to adults is great and all, but I’m disappointed that she didn’t use this opportunity to encourage children to take a different route – especially at a time where bullying and suicide among kids is so prominent. So basically, join a gang for a great experience, to gain respect, and to go through stuff so you can have something to rap about later? It’s not to come down on her but as someone who works with children and adolescents daily, this interview just didn’t sit well with me and is counterproductive.
Factual.
This interview wasn’t a good look. I know being “real” helped her a lot, but now she needs to tone it down and think her words through before she speaks. We’ve seen how quickly artists can rise and fall when they get way too comfortable and start saying things they need to keep to themselves. There’s nothing positive about gang life. It’s a huge issue in our community and we have to stop glorifying it.
You can tell Cardi was shook from jump standing next to that cheetah. She was messing up her lyrics and everything.
