Charlamagne Tha God Says Tyler Perry Helped Him Realize He Was Molested

Last night, Charlamagne Tha God was the featured person on TV One’s “Uncensored.”

During the program, Charlamagne spoke of being fired multiple times before becoming a co-host of The Breakfast Club. He also spoke about his childhood growing up outside Charleston, South Carolina.

One of the show highlights was Charlamagne openly speaking of his molestation suffered as a child. However, it wasn’t until hearing Tyler Perry talk, he realized what he suffered.

  1. His upbringing explains so much. Now I understand why he is the way he is. At least he’s getting therapy.

    1. Because boys are taught that being man means being as s-xual as possible and they learn it at a young age sadly.

  2. I really hate what hyper masculinity has done to black boys and black men. They really don’t understand that a grown woman should not be pursuing them. That is rape no matter how you slice it. I’m glad Charlamagne understands that now.

  3. Watched this last night. I had no idea he used to be a drug dealer. He doesn’t seem like the type at all. But this goes to show you that there needs to be more conversations about women who do this. Oftentimes people don’t see it as in issue when a woman is the predator.
