Fabolous Charged For Aggravated Assault + Faces 3 to 5 Years in Prison

Fabolous Charged with Aggravated Assault

Over the weekend, Fabolous was charged with assaulting his girlfriend, former “Love and Hip Hop” star Emily B. After he was released from police custody in Englewood, New Jersey, footage was released of him having an intense confrontation with Emily’s father.

The footage also showed Fabolous being very hostile towards Emily B. He also threatened Emily’s father saying he “had a bullet for them.”

Although Fabolous arrived with his lawyer to the police station for the arrest, he was released not long afterwards. However, he couldn’t escape formal charges.

According to a press release from the Englewood Police Department, Fabolous, born John Jackson, was formally charged with Aggravated Assault and making Terroristic Threats. The Bergen County Prosecutor will lead the case against Fabolous.

Fabolous, nor his representatives could not be reached for a comment on the charges. If found guilty on these charges, Fabolous faces up to five years in prison.

  1. I’m still shaking my head that his lawyer actually said his actions in that video weren’t an issue. Like we didn’t see him brandishing a knife and walking up on Emily and her dad like he planned to use it on them that day.

  2. This is Chris Brown all over again. He won’t do any time and he’ll still get plenty of support like nothing happened.
