If you caught part three of the reunion for season ten of RHOA, then you already know it was not a good look for Kim Zolciak.
For many, it made racist accusations against Kim made by NeNe Leakes look legit.
And the backlash has been thick for Kim.
Hours ago, she issued what we feel was a lukewarm apology on Instagram:
During the last RHOA Reunion episode, I made a comment that confused and offended people. I sincerely apologize. Edited out of context, I understand why my remark angered people.
Racism is a sad reality in the United States. It has been prevalent throughout our country’s history. Let me be very clear, I do NOT support, tolerate or put up with any form of racism, hate or other discrimination. My love for ALL people runs deep – I am open to all and always have been.
I was heartbroken when I watched the last few minutes of the episode and saw how my words were taken out of context. My comment that seemingly “racism didn’t exist 10 years ago” was made as part of a larger, emotional 45-minute conversation about how, sadly, social media has become a hub for hate. Immediately following my confusing comment, I also said that “it’s not as real as it is now” referring to the power of social media. But those remarks didn’t make the show.
I believe that social media has made a centuries-old issue more real. Before social media, the public simply observed the news. Now, the public actively participates and has an opportunity to take action – in real time.
But this is a double edged sword. Now, when false accusations are made, they are amplified by online platforms regardless of their merit. This wasn’t the case 10 years ago when I started on RHOA.
I truly pray that the people wishing horrible things on others, and on me, channel that energy into something positive. Our world would be a much better place if you do.
I am committed to making this world a better place to live. I will continue to learn from, and be open to, ALL people.
Kim’s “apology” did not address the comment she made about no other white woman being dumb enough to be on RHOA with a cast dominated by black women.
In related news, filming for season seven of “Don’t Be Tardy” has been halted.

Kim Zolciak is stepping away from the cameras. The 39-year-old reality star has “stopped filming” for Don’t Be Tardy, multiple sources tell Us Weekly exclusively.
“Kim and her team have halted all production for Don’t Be Tardy while her lawyers have been working around the clock to investigate and deal with the final episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion,” one source says. A second insider adds, “Kim has pulled the plug on filming. She’s very upset about the entire situation.”
From the sound of the things, it appears Kim is not happy with Bravo at the moment.
This isn’t a true apology. This is damage control and her still not taking responsibility for her actions. She’s once again showing how privileged she is because a black woman from any Bravo show would have been fired by now.

I’m not surprised Kim is still playing victim. She’s learned not one thing from any of this. And why hasn’t Bravo cancelled her show? They wasted no time in firing Phaedra now did they?

Kim really is trash. She will never truly understand why she was wrong so why waste time in explaining? She truly is trying to be the victim when she’s the one who did all the offending.

Who wrote this non apology for Kim? LOL. Don’t Be Tardy should be cancelled but I doubt that’s going to happen. Kim is still being coddled by Bravo.
Kim has made questionable comments for years. Are we supposed to forget that? She needs to come harder than this. And let me know when her show is actually canceled. She didn’t deserve a show in the first place.
I don’t know who her PR rep is but this is a fail. It does nothing to make her look better. Just worse.
Something must have happened behind the scenes because Bravo has never checked Kim like this. And her rep needs to stop lying. It wasn’t her decision to stop filming.
Exactly why would you stop filming on a show that is your only source of income if you don’t film u don’t get paid.
I’m so team Nene on this one….Kim although entertaining is a one trick pony and has been made relevant by the SAME black cast that she now talks down to …kill da show mane! She throwin it in people face…her and kroy entitled white asses need to be reduced to friends of rhoa…. only because her mangled mug is a spectacle alone…(wonder if she thinks she looks good?)let’s see how long they maintain that lifestyle on those checks. The fact that he drives her around says the most about his future earning potential…she needs to be thanking kandi for her WHOLE life because tardy for the party is the best it’s gonna get for her and it’s made her career and legacy for the world….what a joke.
