BFV Recap: Tamar Still Brings Vince Around + Traci Reveals Her Grandbaby’s Gender

Toni’s furious with Tamar ditching Traci in LA.

This episode opens in Atlanta. Traci tells her other sisters Tamar ignored her while she was on her set in LA.

This makes Toni furious and says Traci deserves an apology from Tamar. In fact, this will only anger Evelyn, so Toni says she needs to tell her before she finds out in the media.

“I’m pulling rank. This was wrong.” – Toni

Meanwhile, Traci then delivered positive news about her gender reveal party for her grand baby.

Afterwards, Traci took Toni’s advice and meets up with Evelyn. Traci tells her about what happened in LA and wants advice about what to do.

But first, they get giddy over talking about Traci’s grand baby, and the gender reveal. Despite this happy news, Traci “works her nerves” when she tells her about what happened with Tamar.

“You all are over 40 years old.” – Evelyn

However, Evelyn tells Traci, “This too, shall pass.”

As a result, Traci says she’ll still reach out to Tamar about the gender reveal.

Vince surprisingly shows up to Evelyn’s birthday party.

It’s Evelyn’s birthday and everyone shows up, including Tamar. All of them sit at the same table and they try to get Tamar liquored up so she can talk. But Tamar makes things tense.

Traci doesn’t want to cause a scene so she says she won’t bring up anything.

The mood changes when Evelyn walks in and they all sing to her for her birthday. Seeing all of her children and Logan makes her extremely happy.

Afterwards, Tamar tells Logan that she’s taking him to her daddy, which reveals that Vince is at the party. This revelation shocks her sisters as they are still confused about Tamar and Vince’s marital status amidst the recent drama.

Tamar gets real sassy when her sisters try to ask about her divorce.

The next day, all of the sisters head for lunch with Evelyn, including Tamar. Vince is at the restaurant at another location. Trina’s frustrated that Tamar won’t address the drama in the tabloids and blogs.

Toni arrives and Evelyn really wants her to tell about her engagement. But, because Vince is at the restaurant, Toni says,”It’s not the right time.”

Later on, Tamar brings up some small talk. But, things get tense when Trina’s restaurant comes up. Trina wants the sisters to come together for a business venture.

Things then get wkward when Logan runs around the restaurant and Vince has to run after him. The sisters use this as a time to try to ask Tamar about the divorce.

Tony asks what Vince said after the tabloid news and Tamar says, “Vince said stop talking about me.”

Trina wanted to say something but Tamar shuts her down immediately.

The sisters recap Tamar and Vince’s “performance” at Evelyn’s birthday and lunch.

The next day, Towanda, Traci and Trina meet up and recap everything. Towanda says it was inappropriate for Vince to show up to Evelyn’s birthday or their lunch the next day.

Towards calls Vince selfish and Trina says that Tamar should account for what happened in regards of the divorce. But Traci feels sometime of way about the theme song drama.

Towanda wants to talk about the song with Tamar and her sisters agree.

At the end of their outing, Tamar leaves because she has a date. Trina tries to get the man’s name but Towanda plays coy.

Toni invites her sisters to watch her film a movie.

Toni meets here sisters for drinks and she tells them about a movie she’s starting in, “Faith Under Fire.” She invites her sisters to Pittsburgh to hang out with her as she films.

Toni also lets them know that when they get back to LA, she has an announcement to make. Traci also tells them about opening for Toni.

Towanda brings Traci to meet Trina’s new boyfriend.

Traci is at the restaurant with her boyfriend Von. They are waiting on Towanda and her boo to show up. Trina and Von have been dating for 6 months.

“He makes me feel safe.” – Trina

Towanda arrives but her “date” is actually Traci. This news shocks Trina and Von says, “I think I’ma need some more wine.”

Traci breaks the awkwardness saying, “your hair looks nice.”

Towanda and Traci try to grill Von on things but he seems to handle it well.

Overall, the sisters seem impressed with von, especially after he says he likes seafood.

“If you eat seafood, you eat p****!” – Traci

Towanda, Traci and Trina arrive in Pittsburgh and see Toni on set. They are impressed with Toni’s makeup.

Toni’s sisters get to see Toni do a scene where she has to deal with a gunman. The scene is intense and Toni is happy her sisters are here to watch her film it.

Afterwards, Toni’s sisters tell Toni they are proud of her for taking this role.

Traci reveals her grand baby’s gender.

It’s the day of Traci’s gender reveal and she has her family at the US Bank tower, the tallest building in Los Angeles. Toni couldn’t show up because she had an emergency blood work procedure done.

She then takes them to try the sky slide. Finally, Traci takes them downstairs for the reveal and they meet Tamar outside. Trina hopes this means Tamar is getting closer to speaking about her divorce.

For the reveal, Traci hops on a motorcycle. Traci revs the engine and blue smoke billows out, revealing she’s “having” a boy.

Traci says she’s really happy to be having a grandson.
