It’s been reported that a man who attempted to extort Kevin Hart has been charged with this crime. According to TMZ, Jonathan Todd Jackson faces two criminal counts. One for felony extortion, and a second for extortion by letter.
It’s also reported that Jackson is an actor and has been friends with Kevin Hart for about 15 years. The two starred together in the movie “Think Like A Man Too.”
After the reports became public, Kevin issued a statement via his Twitter account.
Kevin said the following on Twitter:
Mind blown … Hurt … at a loss for words and simply in complete disbelief at the moment. WOW.
If you recall, back in September of last year, Kevin issued a public apology to his wife Eniko for his behavior before the tape became public.
After the tape became public, Kevin cooperated with authorities, claiming someone tried to extort him for money by using the tape of him cheating.
More money more problems.
