Watch: Snoop Dogg Says Kanye West Needs More Black Women in His Life

Snoop Dogg stopped by the Breakfast Club this morning to promote his gospel album and the new season of Joker’s Wild.

Of course, the topic touched on Kanye West and his recent comments.

During the interview, DJ Envy asked him about the post on Instagram.

If you recall, Snoop posted the following on Instagram:

Thank u @bosslady_ent Love u for being my rock and keeping me straight

A post shared by snoopdogg (@snoopdogg) on

DJ Envy specifically asked if he feels if Kanye has the same support in his home that he or Snoop have. Snoop specifically said his wife would, “Check the s*** out of me!”

She’s not going to sympathize with you and say, ‘Envy is thinking freely…’

Ima slap the dog s*** out ‘cha if you say some s*** like that. When yo’ kids is looking at you, what you doin’ n****?

Then, Snoop made his main point; there aren’t enough black women in Kanye’s life to help keep him “In check.”

There’s no black women in his life. Let’s just keep that 100. Like that’s real man. I got aunties… They’ll pull up with the big church hat on… ‘What’s happenin’? Whatcha on? Nephew, you bulls******! We taught you way better than that!’

It got to a point where it was funny, but then it got sad.

  1. That’s Kanye’s problem. I for one am not interested in coddling black men. Kanye is an adult and able to research all topics before he speaks ignorance for attention and album sales. He’s trash and that’s NOT my problem.

  2. Maybe but Kanye was still an egomaniac desperate for attention when his mother was alive and while he dated black women. We can’t forget that.

  3. Why are black women always responsible for black men? Ain’t they supposed to be the head of the household?

  4. People need to stop making Kanye feel like he’s so important. I can’t believe we are still discussing his ignorant comments about Trump and slavery. He doesn’t deserve all this attention.

  5. No, black women need to stay away from Kanye. Anyone who will disrespect the ancestors for publicity ain’t someone we need to be dealing with. Let Kim and em have this c–n.

  6. Some of y’all are misconstruing what Snoop actually said. He didn’t say it’s a black woman’s job to save Kanye or any other black man. What he said was black women will always keep it 100 and tell a man the truth. If he’s doing something stupid, we tell him he’s doing something stupid. We’re honest and don’t feel the need to turn a blind eye to things just because we don’t want to upset our man. And for the most part, that’s pretty accurate.
