Karen kicks out Gizelle and Robyn.
Gizelle and Robyn make their appearance at Karen’s charity dinner.
When they enter, they immediately see Kyndall. Gizelle walks right past her and speaks to Michael Darby.
“I could have just cut that tension with a knife.” – Kyndall
In a green screen interview, Gizelle takes some shots at Kyndall’s looks.
“Karen has absolutely no idea that Sherman and I just broke up. So for her to invite Sherman’s horse face ex wife, Karen’s on a whole new level of messiness.” – Gizelle
Both Robyn and Gizelle tell Karen they want to talk to her about some things. Karen offers to have the conversation in the situation room after the dinner is over.
But Gizelle insists they move to the situation room right that moment to have the private conversation. Karen then calls security over to remove them from the venue.
“These two need to go.” – Karen
In a green screen interview, Karen says that the event is too personal and important to her for them to come in with “raggedy jeans on” to insist on talking about drama.
Robyn and Gizelle run into Ashley and Charrise outside of the venue. They rehash on what just went down with Karen.
The subject then changes into Charrisse missing Robyn’s event to attend a gala with Monique. She apologizes for missing it and tells Robyn that she told Monique a month in advance that she would go to the gala.
They then begin to argue over the fact that Robyn feels the gala Monique attended was “frivolous” and Charrisse had no idea that Robyn was so hands on for her women empowerment event.
Angry at this point, Charrisse says that she is attached to doing charity work, and perhaps Robyn and Gizelle can’t relate. They clap back that they all do charity work.
“I’m not doing this childish sh*t with y’all tonight. This is bullsh*t. You want to create some bullsh*t. Fuck that sh*t. Bye. I don’t have time.” – Charrisse
Charrisse then storms off.
She and Ashley head back into the dinner while Gizelle and Robyn leave.
After Karen wraps up her speech, Ray’s aunt thanks her for her hard work in putting the event together. She tells Karen that Ray’s mother would have been so proud.
At the dinner table, Charrisse asks Kyndall if Gizelle saw her. She says she’s sure Gizelle saw her and ignored her.
When the present speaker declares that he’s going to everyone to make sure they write a check for the cause, Monique tells Michael that she had to write her donation check out to Karen’s for profit business, Icon Enterprises.
“Are you funding her next mansion? Is that what you’re doing?” – Michael
In a green screen interview, Monique says she finds it odd that Karen is having people write their donation checks to Icon Enterprises. But she will still support because she likes Karen.
Michael clearly feels differently.
“I’m not writing any checks to Icon anything. I – Con. Doesn’t con mean something else?” – Michael
Candiace’s father stands his ground.
Chris and Candiace are still working on their wedding guest list. Candiace believes they well have over 400 people attending.
She knows she needs to call her father and see if he will spend more money towards the wedding. Right now, he will fork over $20,000.
She FaceTimes her Dad while he’s in his scrubs. He’s a physician in Emergency Medicine. She’s her dad’s only daughter.
Candiace tells her dad that she and Chris will contribute $20,000 to the wedding. She also tells her dad that her mother said she will give $100,000 if Candiace’s dad gave “a little more.”
When she asks if this is possible for her dad to do, he says no.
“She wanted me to do 50 and I said no. No.” – Candiace’s dad
In a green screen interview, Candiace says she feels like she’s always felt like she has to be in the middle of her parents.
When Chris suggests Candiace should just rock one dress, she gets irritated.
“No, I’m doing two dresses. That’s happening.” – Candiace
Chris then says that Candiace turns him down each time he tries to talk her into letting some things go so the wedding can be more affordable.
Candiace then accuses him of trying to be a “smart a*s” and trying to irritate her. They agree to drop the conversation.
With her relationship with Sherman being over, Gizelle is now focusing on her kids and her businesses.
Her sorority sister Gabby comes by to help discuss how to move Every Hue forward.
She wants to update the website and prepare for attending the CBC (The Congressional Black Caucus).
With her dad having political roots, this is so important to her. She will have a booth front and center at the event.
Ashley gets some clarity from her uncle.
She calls him to get some advice about Michael. She’s concerned he may not really want to have kids with her.
Ashley tells her uncle that Michael said he was hesitant to have kids with Ashley because he’s fearful she may turn out to be a lot like Sheila.
“Honestly, he’s full of sh*t. I think he likes having, you know, a trophy wife.” – Ashley’s uncle
“Well that’s not all I want to be.” – Ashley
Her uncle then says that he doesn’t think Michael wants to have kids with Ashley and he’s using Sheila as an excuse.
Ashley feels like she’s been strung along because he told her in the beginning that he wanted to have kids.
In a green screen interview, Ashley says she will have to end the marriage if he refuses to expand their family.
After their separate workouts (Karen, Candiace, Monique in one group and Robyn, Gizelle, Ashely in another), they all recap what went down at Karen’s charity dinner.
Gizelle says she and Robyn were kicked out for wanting to talk to Karen while the dinner was ongoing.
Karen says she felt it was rude that Robyn and Gizelle couldn’t wait to talk after.
They also question why Karen didn’t explain why checks weren’t be written to an actual charity but to her for profit business.
Ashley says this was never explained.
Robyn says it’s easy to create a 501 c3 in five minutes.
When asked by a producer in her green screen interview how much the charity dinner actually raised, Karen laughs and refuses to answer.
“That’s public information if people want to dig it up.” – Karen
Ashley then asks if Karen told Gizelle that Kyndall would be there. Gizelle says Karen told her ahead of time and she doesn’t care.
In a green screen interview, Robyn says Gizelle cares and was hurt by it. But she copes by putting on a hard exterior.
“But why would she do that? You’re closer to her than Kyndall. Seemed underhanded.” – Ashley
“If I’m going to get mad over Sherman’s ex wife of six years ago, then something is wrong with me.” – Gizelle
In a green screen interview, Gizelle adds:
“I don’t care nothing about the hay, the carrots or the sugar cubes that Kyndall needs to eat. But it’s shocking and hurtful that Karen would do this just to try to hurt me.”
When Monique asks Karen why she invited Kyndall to the charity dinner, Karen says she has known Kyndall longer than she’s known Gizelle.
She says they are “legit” and “friends.”
Karen also says that they used to go to the same hair salon.
She says she was coming from an “innocent position” and they are both her friends.
In a green screen interview, Monique says that even though she likes Kyndall and isn’t on the best terms with Gizelle, she would never bring them around each other at events.
Charrisse then FaceTimes Robyn. She asks Robyn to dinner so they can hash things out. Robyn accepts.
“That was better than the last conversation when she informed us that we don’t care about charities.” – Gizelle
Gizelle tells Robyn that she needs to tell Charrisse that Monique is using her for her connections.
Candiace and Ashley catch up.
In a green screen interview, Candiace says she likes Ashley but feels she’s different when she’s around Robyn and Gizelle.
They discuss Candiace’s frustrations with planning the wedding. She admits it causes her to clash with Chris.
“Maybe planning the wedding is getting to my head.” – Candiace
Ashley explains that Michael is apprehensive about having kids with her.
Candiace suggests that Michael may just not want to have any more kids, so he’s looking for excuses, including Ashley’s mother.
Charrisse and Robyn hash things out.
Robyn and Charrisse meet for dinner.
Both are hoping they can really hash things out.
Charrisse once again explains that she went to the charity gala with Monique because she promised to go a month in advance.
But Robyn says she feels like Charrisse chose her side in her feud with Monique.
Charrisse says it’s not about choosing a side. She just agreed to go before she knew about Robyn’s event.
“And how do you feel about Monique calling your friends and inviting them to her events?” – Robyn
“I was shocked.” – Charrisse
Charrisse says she doesn’t really talk to Monique as much as she used to. Robyn says Monique is thirsty to become a socialite of Potomac.
In a green screen interview, Charrisse says Monique made the hurricane charity event all about herself. Add that to the fact that Charrisse feels it was shady for Monique to invite Kyndall out.
“So I kind of see this game that she’s playing and I don’t like it.” – Charrisse
It’s the day of the CBC.
Robyn and Gizelle are already there.
Karen stops by Monique’s place so they can go together. They both agree that they are not going to go to Gizelle’s booth.
Ashley shows up and stops by Gizelle’s booth. She gives her props on being right at the front of the building.
On the ride to the CBC, Monique tells Karen that Charrisse hasn’t been returning her phone calls. She finds that to be strange.
Charrisse stops by the booth with a friend, and Monique and Karen walk in not too long after. They immediately spot Gizelle’s booth and decide to walk the other direction.
Later on, Monique and Karen are spotted by Ashley, Gizelle and Karen. They walk over to speak.
Both Monique and Karen lie and say they didn’t know where Gizelle’s booth was.
“It’s hard to miss.” – Robyn
In a green screen interview, Gizelle claps back.
“When you walk into the exhibit hall, the first thing you see is my face. Not only did you see me, you did a lap around the hall not to have to speak to me.” – Gizelle
Monique tells them she and Karen have to leave because they have to get dressed to go to another event later that night.
In a green screen interview, Monique says the following:
“I saw her booth. But they don’t know how to act. You’re not going to have me looking bad. So be grateful for that. Be grateful that I’m not like you.”
As Karen and Monique are walking out, Robyn calls Karen a liar.
Karen claps back in a green screen interview.
“You don’t know me to be a liar but we do know you to be a fool.” – Karen
After Karen and Monique make their exit, Candiace walks up to the booth and speaks. They give her the rundown on what just went down.
Charrisse says that she’s starting to see Monique a lot differently and she will talk to her when she’s ready.
Candiace and Chris clash at the CBC afterparty.
After Candiace asked Chris to hold her purse as she goes to the bathroom, he refuses. They got in a argument as a result and Chris called her spoiled.
They discuss the situation the day after.
“I will continue to check you every time that I feel that you’re getting out of line. Don’t roll your eyes at me.” – Chris
Candiace is hurt that he called her a spoiled princess but he’s hurt that she compared him to his deadbeat father.
“You know how I feel about that.” – Chris
She apologizes for the hurtful comment. He accepts.
He puts her engagement ring on.
“Stop taking it off.” – Chris
They hug it out.

Child these women are naive. Neither Candiace nor Ashley will stay married. I guarantee it.
I think Ashley and her husband’s fate is obvious.
Karen is really on her high horse this season.
Karen is lying about not trying to be messy. She knows very well why she invited Kyndall. The thing I dislike about her and Mo is they don’t own their messiness. But they are so quick to call out everyone else.
Like I said in the last post Ashley uncle told her nothing but the truth Michael don’t want any kids with her and he using her mom as an excuse. Michael not slick he can just divorce Ashley easily but having kids and divorcing her is more than he wants to deal with.
Bingo.
I chuckled at how Gizelle didn’t give Kyndall that moment she’s been wanting.
Can Candiace be mad that Chris told the truth? She is a spoiled brat. Why does she need over 400 people at her wedding and why does she need to spend over $100,000 for a wedding. Her dad told her no because he knows it would make more sense to have an affordable wedding and put most of the money towards the downpayment of a home. Not the wedding.
Michael is just trying to keep his coins safe. He knows he won’t stay married to Ashley. He does not want to have to give her half or child support when he already has an ex wife and kids to take care of. But this is something he should have been honest about from day one. He should have told her he didn’t want kids when they were just dating. He’s foul to string her along.
Robin is annoying me this season
I’m sure Ashley wishes she hadn’t amended that prenup. Damn fool. I still loathe & depise Karen with her fake a$$ old self. She’s a crook just like her husband they’ll have joint cells. Gizelle & Robyn are like the joker & the riddler, dumb. Charisse what did you think Monique wanted from you.. surely not friendship. You to old to be so dumb. Monique is a fake a$$ trick……..
