Jennifer reels from the revelation of her rumor about Evelyn.
The episode continues with the argument with Evelyn, Jennifer, Shaunie and Tami at Tami’s event.
Shaunie is shocked from the tea, and Evelyn is in tears. She asks Jennifer if the rumor is true. Jennifer begins backpedaling.
“I’ve never f***ing heard this in my life.” – Shaunie
Jennifer suddenly gets the brunt of Shaunie’s wrath. When Jennifer tried to say Tami said it, Tami went off on Jennifer. Shaunie wants Jennifer to just own what she apparently started.
“Own your s***. That’s what I’m saying.” – Shaunie
In her interview, Jennifer stands behind her words and calls Tami a liar.
As Jennifer and Tami continue to go back and forth, Evelyn and Shaunie go off to the side to talk. Evelyn is still in tears but Shaunie is calm. Evelyn says she never even had a conversation with her ex.
Back with the rest of the girls, Jennifer and Tami are still going at it about the rumor. Jackie is sitting off on the side, noting that Jennifer’s on the hot seat.
As Evelyn and Shaunie talk, Evelyn thinks that Tami is straight lying about everything. She also gets shady about Tami’s appearance.
“Tami needs to go to her plastic surgeon and check that neck.” – Evelyn
Eventually, Tami leaves out with Shaunie and Jennifer trails them, and they’re still going back and forth about the rumor.
Everyone recaps the rumor revelation.
The next day, Malaysia is with Kristen and Jennifer doing hot yoga. When their session is over, they recap what happened at Tami’s retreat. Jennifer isn’t sure how Malaysia feels about her after what happened.
Malaysia asks what happened, and Jennifer said she should’ve never had a conversation with Tami about Evelyn.
“Throughout our friendship, neither one of us was a saint.” – Jennifer
Malaysia turns to Kristen and reveals that she doesn’t like her conflict with Cece. But Kristen isn’t sure if she can trust Cece anymore.
At then end, however, Kristen says she can give her another chance.
Shaunie receives receipts from Tami surrounding Jennifer’s rumor.
Tami stops by Shaunie’s to talk about the retreat. Shaunie doesn’t know who to believe and wants answers. So she asks Tami what she knows.
Tami pulls out text messages from their group texts. However, she sees Malaysia in the chat, and Shaunie has questions. Shaunie also sees that Jennifer really crossed the line.
“Jenn didn’t give a s*** about my feelings…” – Shaunie
She also learns that Malaysia may be a key piece into who originated the rumor.
Malaysia gets impressed by her blind date.
Byron and Cece are hooking Malaysia up with Byron’s friend Ron. Ron and Byron used to play for the Lakers. The three of them meet Malaysia at a restaurant, and Malaysia’s nervous to meet him.
She says she is shy and her 3 children come first. Ron breaks the ice, talking about almost wearing the wrong outfit to their dinner. Malaysia says he’s cute.
Cece’s glad Malaysia and Ron hit it off as they plan another date.
Shaunie gets inspired to question Malaysia.
Evelyn is out to eat ice cream with Shaunie. She wants to emphasize to Shaunie that nothing ever happened with her and Shaunie’s ex. Shaunie said she called her ex about it and he laughed it off. He also doesn’t like Jennifer for starting it.
Shaunie also brings up the text messages from Tami, where Malaysia’s involved. However, Evelyn still feels Tami started it all. Shaunie doesn’t care about Tami more than Jennifer in this situation.
They also feel that Jackie could be a key person in bringing all of them together to talk about this.
Malaysia and Ron are on another date, playing racquetball. She admits that she’s very bad at dating.
When Malaysia tells Ron she’s competitive, he says that he would dunk on his grandmother.
Afterwards, they sit down and chat and Ron lays it on thick. Malaysia is smitten with him.
Reggie and Tami are out shopping. Tami uses the time to talk about the controversy at her retreat. She wanted to clear her name by showing Shaunie the text messages. Reggie says that Jennifer was tying to stir the pot.
Reggie said he’s glad Tami didn’t try to hurt Jennifer or Evelyn at the retreat.
Malaysia proves her innocence to Shaunie.
Shaunie and Evelyn invited Jackie and Malaysia out for drinks and Jackie’s nervous about the reason for the conversation.
“We thought it would be a good reason for a ponderosa.” – Evelyn
“Oh s***.” – Jackie
Evelyn begins the conversation by saying that she’s impressed with Jackie’s behavior at Tami’s retreat. Jackie is shocked.
Shaunie brings up the text messages Tami showed her, which had instructions for Malaysia to “put a bug” in Shaunie’s ear about the rumor.
Malaysia said Jennifer did bring it up to her to tell Shanie about the rumor. But, Malaysia said it wasn’t right to do so, and said nothing.
She also feels played by Jennifer and wants to talk to her about it.
“You don’t send anyone tea and don’t pour it, that’s f***ed up.” – Malaysia
Jennifer apologizes to Evelyn and Shaunie.
Shaunie says she wants to have another ponderosa that will include Jennifer and Tami. But Shaunie knows it’ll be hard to have Jennifer and Tami in the same room. But she invites them both the next morning for a breakfast.
The next day, they have their morning ponderosa waiting on Jennifer and Tami to show up.
“We can figure all of this out today.” – Shaunie
Tami shows up to the breakfast, surprised to see Evelyn.
“Ok, here we go. Saddle up.” – Tami
Jennifer also walks in. When she sits down, Jennifer apologizes to Evelyn and Shaunie. Shaunie accepts the apology but doesn’t want to hang out with her anymore.
She also goes off on Jennifer for ruining her 20-plus year relationship with Evelyn. Tami gets angry when Jennifer drags Tami into it, and Shaunie brings up the group text messages.
Malaysia steps in saying she never had a conversation with Jennifer and asked Jenn why she brought it up to her.
Jennifer finally admits that she planned to bring the rumor to Shaunie to take down Evelyn before they repaired their friendship.
Evelyn and Tami clash, and Tami calls Evelyn a liar.
Tami steps in, saying Jenn shouldn’t have tried to make her look bad in Evelyn’s eyes. But Evelyn feels Tami is also culpable in the creation of the rumor.
As a result, Evelyn and Tami began arguing. Evelyn feels Tami had a motive to contribute to the spreading of the rumor with Jennifer.
When Evelyn called Tami a liar, Tami decided to go below the belt. Tami said that Evelyn follows Reggie and her daughter on social media. So she’s convinced Evelyn wants her man and is jealous of her life.
She then brings up Evelyn’s domestic violence past with her ex Chad Johnson. Tami hit below the belt on the subject, calling Evelyn a liar.
“You lied on Chad because you’re a fake a** b****. You know you were fighting that man all along. But since the neighbors saw, now you want to be an advocate for domestic violence.” – Tami
“You’re dirty!” – Evelyn
Tami gets barbs thrown right back from Evelyn, who’s angry Tami called her a liar herself.
“Worry about your health. You look like a crackhead these days. Take a vitamin. Your legs look like two mothaf***in candle sticks burning in the God D*** sun.” – Evelyn
Tami stands by what she said, claiming she ruined her ex’s NFL career with her allegations. Evelyn, on the other hand, says she is glad Tami publicly said these things because now everyone can see how evil Tami is.
Shaunie is disgusted by Tami’s allegations and wishes she could just get up and walk away.
The episode ends with Evelyn and Tami dismissing one another at the ponderosa.
