Chances are you probably already knew about Spice considering she’s had success as a Dancehall artist. For others, they were introduced to Spice last season of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”
Plenty of fans were divided as she took on Tommie Lee in the studio and on stage at the reunion.
But now Spice is having more controversy.
Apparently Spice has decided to take drastic measures and lightened her skin.
She posted the following photo to promote he new mixtape, “Captured.”

This picture caused a lot of conversations on social media. To no surprise, Spice explained the drastic change in appearance on Instagram.
In an interview with Billboard, she told a writer that she made the change to make a point on her new mixtape. The singer claimed black fans told her she won’t make it far in the business because she doesn’t have lighter skin.

When Spice was asked if she bleached her skin, she never really answered. But many of her loyal fans seem to think the change is just makeup.
