Des is getting used to being the new intern.

So far, he’s struggling to clean the shop up after the Sip and Paint party.

In a green screen interview, Cease says Des has already gotten a little too conformable on the job. He’s going to tell Sky.

As Cease tells Des all the other jobs he has left to do, Des doesn’t look thrilled.

The group then talks about Kit going off at the party.

“I don’t know who that Kit is.” – Cease

While Tati says she’s proud of Kitty for standing up for herself, Cease isn’t impressed plus he’s still upset she took up for Donna.

Melody is with a client later in the evening.

She’s been working later hours to have space away from Lalo.

They are still having some major relationship problems. So she’s been avoiding being around Lalo as much as possible.

In a green screen interview, she says it’s been hard for her to live with Lalo. They’ve been having a lot of problems for the last few months. And since they have bee together for about five years, she’s not sure how to move forward without him.

She also thinks Lalo feels like Melody cares more abut her career than their relationship. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Sky returns from her trip to Miami.

Of course she walks in the shop and greets everyone.

Apparently she was in Miami because she’s thinking about opening up a boutique there for women’s clothing.

Cease is concerned but Sky says that Black Ink will still be her focus.

“I just want my vibe to be on some other sh*t.” – Sky

Furious to hear this, Cease asks everyone to leave so he can chat with Sky.

He questions how she can balance Black Ink and her boutique, but Sky is certain she can do both. She has no plans to leave Black Ink.

When Cease reminds her that Des is still there, Sky says it’s fine for her to have her own business because she’s 35 years old. It’s time for her to have her own thing too.

But this isn’t cool with Cease because he made her the number two at Black Ink.

“F*ck you.” – Sky

She storms out of the shop.

Tokie spends some time with her mom.

Her mother is from Thailand and her father is from Detroit. She’s in town from Houston and Tokie learned strength from seeing her parents in an interracial relationship.

They then discuss the fact that Tokie was s*xually abused.

With her trying to pursue her dreams, she feels it’s very emotionally draining.

But her mother tells her to be strong and to no give her abuser any power over her.

“Forward, that’s it.” – Tokie’s mom

They hug it out.

When Cease walks into the shop, he sees Donna sitting with Alex.

He questions why Donna is there.

“What the f*ck are you doing here, Donna. I told your a*s to f*cking leave.” – Cease

Alex says that he thinks Donna and Cease should talk. But Cease isn’t entrusted. He wants Donna to leave.

At this point, Alex tells Cease to try to hear Donna out because she has a good heart.

Donna then says that it was wrong for her to give Cease an ultimatum. She also wants to make things right with Tokie. Plus, she understands that Cease has to hire and fire who he wants. It’s his shop.

“I just really do wanna be here.” – Cease

Cease then thinks on it and tells Donna she has one more chance.

So he gives Donna her job back but reminds her that her next wrong turn is her last.

Sky vents to Des about Cease.

While in the park with her dog Bagel Supreme and Des, Sky struggles to get Bagel to follow commands.

They discuss how it’s been working out at the shop for Des.

He tells her it’s a lot of work.

But Sky tells him having a legit job is better than being in the streets.

Regardless, Sky isn’t happy about Cease’s reaction about her opening up her own boutique.

“It’s a big thing, Mom.” – Des

Sky is positive she can multitask Black Ink with her own business.

However, Sky says she’s supported Cease in everything, including when he proposed to Dutchess.

She just wants the same respect.

Donna returns to the shop.

When Tokie sees here there, she doesn’t speak.

But Donna tells Tokie she was wrong and wants a relationship with her. In a green screen interview, Donna says that she was wrong to take her frustrations out on Tokie.

Tokie hears her out and they hug it out. Donna then says that they all needs a girls night out.

Sky drops by Cease’s place to try to change his mind.

She brings some Jamaican food with her since it’s his favorite.

After she tells him she’s not leaving Black Ink and he assumes that she means she’s not moving forward with the shop.

He then tells her that she’s not qualified to run her own business yet. This annoys Sky but she plays along.

In a green screen interview, Sky says she’s moving forward with the shop and she’ll show him that he’s wrong.

It’s Girls Night Out.

The girls have a toast before they head out.

Donna rented out a huge loft and she’s ready for everyone to turn up.

Kitty is there and says she’s avoiding contact with Cease until he apologizes for blowing up on her.

In the meantime the girls drink, dance and play some pool at the loft.

When Tokie does a split on the floor, Donna is impressed.

Some male dancers with whips arrive and the party really begins.

Jadah then shows up pregnant and sober.

She’s thankful she got an invite from Donna.

Young Bae chats with Jadah and ends up telling her that Teddy and Tati are now a couple. In a green screen interview, Jadah says that Teddy probably fired her because he was messing around with Tati.

They had to be messing around during the Miami trip too.

She goes to Donna who confirms that Tati and Teddy are together.

Not too long after, Jadah confronts Tati and tells her that Tati dating Teddy is why Teddy fired Jadah.

The two women start arguing and Tati jumps off the pool table to lounge at Jadah. They are restrained by security and Donna asks Tati to just leave the party.

Melody has another cold exchange with Lalo.

They are home at  the same time and tension is very thick.

She tells him that she loves him and she wants them to make things better.

Lalo says that he wants that too and he’s tired of fighting.

When she says she will stop working at Black Ink, he tells her that won’t fix their problems. He tells her that the energy and love isn’t there anymore.

Shaken up and hurt, Melody says she doesn’t want them to lose their family. But Lalo says he loves her but he can’t be with her anymore.

He leaves as Melody breaks down in tears.

Cease, Walt and Teddy go to an art gallery.

Apparently Cease is thinking about investing in some art. He is inspired by the “one percenters,” so he’s going to invest one percent of his money into art.

Kitty meets them there with a new blonde wig. Cease invited her there.

He realizes it wasn’t cool for him to lash out at Kitty just because he was mad at Donna. So he apologizes.

Not too long after, the gang notices that Jadah is outside standing in front of Teddy’s car. She demands that Teddy comes outside.

“Bring your a*s outside, b*tch!” – Jadah

In a green screen interview, Kitty says she casually told Jadah she was meeting the guys at the gallery.

But she had no idea Jadah would pull up.

Teddy comes out and asks her what she wants.

Jadah goes off and accuses him of firing her over Tati.

This is the reason your’e fired you f*cking psycho!” – Jadah

She then pours a gallon of yellow paint over his car.

“F*ck you!” – Jadah

She calls him a bird and walks off as Teddy fumes over his car.
