Today, a Los Angeles judge ruled Nipsey Hussle’s daughter Emani will stay with her aunt Samantha Smith.
As reported by TMZ, Samantha’s petition for custody of Emani was approved by the court and the ruling left her mother Tanisha in tears as she left the courtroom.
Previously, Tanisha responded to the petition, claiming Emani lived with her and Samantha failed to return Emani after the funeral.
Interestingly, before the ruling was issued, It became public Tanisha had a warrant out for her arrest. The warrant stems from a 2017 DUI arrest. Despite pleading no contest, she missed a mandatory court hearing May 15 triggering the bench warrant.
Tanisha also faced previous charges of disturbing the peace and vandalism in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
