Towanda had her sisters suspecting she had gotten secretly engaged.
And it’s all because of the ring Sean bought her.
However, Sean and Towanda later clarified that the ring wasn’t an engagement ring. And Sean just bought it because Towanda liked it.
In a deleted scene from the show, Traci asked the couple about their future together since Sean bought a “friendship ring.”
Towanda and Sean emphasized that the ring isn’t a friendship ring.
The conversation got a bit awkward, too.
Here’s how it went:
Traci: So what is you guys next plans since you gave Towanda a friendship ring?
Sean: Umm, we didn’t call it a friendship ring.
Towanda: No we didn’t. You called, you called it that.
Traci: Well y’all said y’all weren’t engaged. It wasn’t an engagement ring. Okay, dating ring.
Sean: I also gave her an iPad as well.
Traci: So it’s a dating iPad.
Sean: Same thing.
Towanda: I can’t wear it.
Sean: It’s just gifts. Tokens of the appreciation of who she is.
Traci: So how far are y’all going to take this? Have y’all talked about that because inquiring minds wanna know.
Sean: Really? We’ll fax you.
