The charges against Michael have been dropped.

Ashley still believes he’s innocent.

Monique plans to support Ashley because she wouldn’t want to be in her shoes.

The rest of the women still believe Michael is guilty.

Back at home, Ashley is burning sage and walking around the house to eliminate all the negative energy.

Today this is the day she and Michael have an interview with the local news station.

Ashley is hoping this will set the record straight.

Not too long after, her mother calls. It’s the first time Michael is addressing the allegations to the public.

“His name was just dragged through the mud unnecessarily.” – Ashley

She breaks down in tears because she thinks Michael is too good of a man to be in this position.

Her mother offers words of encouragement.

Karen’s daughter Rayvin is at home visiting.

They get emotional after they watch an old video of Karen’s parents before they passed.

Karen is happy to have footage of them happy and healthy.

Macy Gray, the singer, has become one of Karen’s close friends. They met through Matt.

Rayvin is going to join Macy in the studio soon.

She’s going to record her rendition of “Amazing Grace.” She sang it at her grandparents’ funerals.

Gizelle is at home watching Michael’s interview.

Of course, she does so with some popcorn.

Michael says he didn’t grope the cameraman because if he did, there would have been a witness.

He says he bumped into the cameraman but that’s all that happened.

Ashley says she wouldn’t be supporting Michael if she knew he was guilty.

Gizelle is not buying any of this.

“That hurricane is a coming.” – Gizelle

Candiace irritates Monique further.

Monique is having a second season of her podcast.

It’s called “Not for Lazy Moms.”

The first season had over 100,000 downloads.

Ashley comes by to catch up with her.

In a green screen interview, Ashly says she’s thankful Monique has been so supportive amid Michael’s controversy.

She tells Monique that she feels like the other women are “reveling” in what’s going on.

Ashley says Candiace said Monique did that.

But Monique says that isn’t true and she has text messages that back up everything.

She hands over her phone and lets Ashley read thee text messages between her and Candiace.

Ashley can see that it was Candiace alone who enjoyed the bad news about Michael.

Katie makes some accusations.

Robyn has a girls’ night at her house.

Her friends come over to drink and try on makeup.

Gizelle and Katie also come by.

They leave Robyn’s friends alone and go off to the kitchen to talk about Ashley and Michael.

Katie tells them that Michael was flirtatious with her boyfriend Jacob.

Apparently, Katie and Ashley went on a double date. At some point, they decided to all exchange numbers and Michael told Jacob to make sure he gives him his private number.

While Robyn and Gizelle wonder if Ashley is just naive, Katie thinks she’s stupid.

Rayvin and Karen go to the studio to meet Macy.

Not too long after, Rayvin gets in the booth to record her rendition of “Amazing Grace.”

She sang this at Karen’s parents’ funerals.

So this is really emotional for Karen.

Rayvin does a great job recording.

Monique and Chris talk about Michael’s interview.

She tells him that Michael said he did bump into the man but he didn’t grope him.

Chris is glad that Michael was able to tell his side. And while they know it is possible Michael is telling the truth, they don’t know what to believe.

But Monique doesn’t like that Candiace told Ashley that Monique is enjoying Michael’s situation.

And she also doesn’t like that Candiace appears to be celebrating what’s going on with Michael.  She thinks that speaks to a character flaw. So she hopes it’s just a phase for Candiace.

Regardless, Chris says Monique and Candiace need to get on the same page because he likes Candiace.

Michael’s return to the group is awkward.

Ashley and Michael are on the way to a haunted house venue.

Robyn planned this outing as a way to celebrate Juan’s 40 birthday.

Gizelle is the first person to arrive.

Not too long after, Ashley and Michael show up.

It gets awkward when Gizelle sees him and tries to hug him.

“No charges? Can we get a high five? A high five?” – Gizelle

Neither Ashley nor Michael is amused by this. They just stare at her in silence.

Ashley eventually gives Gizelle a high five and Michael says everything was blown out of proportion.

When Candiace and Chris arrive, it gets awkward again. There isn’t much said between the two couples.

Minutes later, Robyn and Juan arrive with their kids.

Juan tells Michael he’s glad he can put the allegations behind him.

Karen and Ray then show up.

The group finally goes inside the haunted house.

Later they have a toast to Juan’s birthday.

Gizelle takes offense to Ashley’s feelings.

Ashley then catches up with Gizelle, Robyn, Karen, and Candiace.

Gizelle admits that she thought Michael was guilty. And she says this is because Michael didn’t originally say he was innocent when she saw him after everything just happened.

Ashley says Monique is the only one who supported her.

Gizelle takes offense to this and says she’s been reaching out.

Regardless, Ashley feels how she feels. And she’s not feeling supported beyond Monique.

Before the episode ends, producers show unseen footage of Michael’s incident.

Although he says he bumped into the cameraman and didn’t grope him, a cameraman can he heard saying:

“Don’t do that. Don’t do that.”

This is said after Michael says hello to the cameraman.

What are your thoughts on the episode?
