Angela and JoJo leave the party before Lil Mama arrives.
The episode picks up where they left off last week. Angela Simmons and JoJo leave the party before Lil Mama arrives. This confuses Lil Mama about her and Angela’s relationship, but it doesn’t stop Lil Mama and her crew from partying. Madina feels some type of way about the party too, being that the crowd was small. However, Lil Mama called the party a success.
The next morning, Irv Gotti reaches out to Charli Baltimore to talk about the Murder Inc reunion. Irv and Charli had beef in the past but they both put the drama behind them and are ready to work with one another. Charli’s daughter Sianni is a DJ and Charli manages her career. She’s bringing her up to New York City and wants all the kids to reconnect. Fat Joe stops by the store UPNyc to check on Ryan and an upcoming exclusive shoe release. Joe rehashes his belief and goal in Ryan taking this store to the best level instead of focusing too much on the rap career. They have a meeting of the minds when Ryan suggests he hosts a listening party at the shoe store.
Da’Zyna and Quantizing meet up for pizza when their brother Will stops by and she tells them about her date with YDB. She’s taking it slow with YDB even though the date went well. She had a good time. Her brother’s eyebrows raised when YDB told them he’s a polygamist. Things get tense when Quan revealed he still can’t in touch with Flava Flav.
YDB still wants his tribe of women.
Meanwhile, YDB’s turning 30 and he’s reminiscent of everything. And like his dad, he’s still trying to put a baby in Da’Zyna. However, Da’Zyna doesn’t know about his pregnant girlfriend Angela. Taniqua gets on YDB about treating his pregnant girlfriend badly. But YDB is still going to do him.
Angie and Brittney are waiting on Sianni. They haven’t seen her and are ready to reunite. When Sianni makes it to the coffee shop, they all hit it off. Sianni’s trying to make a name for herself as a DJ in NY. She’s been all over Philly clubs and made a name for herself there.
Lil Mama disappoints her dad with the party results.
Finally, Lil Mama’s in the studio working on new music with her brother behind the boards. It’s too bad she’s exhausted from the party and she knows her dad captain won’t be happy about this. They also realize that they should’ve shown up to the party earlier. Lil Mama also realizes how this could’ve irritated Angela by showing up so late. When Captain arrives, they tell Captain they didn’t make all of the money back. That disappoints Captain especially since the music isn’t where he wants it to be. Lil Mama tells Captain that she has to figure out if she still has that same hunger for music that she had when she was younger.
YDB’s sister blows up his spot with Da’Zyna
YDB’s sister is setting up for the party and she hopes this breaks any tension between her and YDB. The cast slowly trickles in and everyone seemingly hits it off. YDB shows up as the guest of honor but he’s not happy with anything at the party. Meanwhile, Madina does her best to hook Arnstar up with Vina. However, Arnstar has Vina in the friend zone.
Later on, Angela shows up and he suggests to them that they move in his other baby mama Maria. This really irritates his sister and Angela’s not for it either. Da’Zyna shows up and YDB gets immediately nervous. Da’Zyna sees YDB and she comes over looking for a hug. However, YDB backs away and introduces her to Angela.
Meanwhile, Ryan tells Madina about playing Fat Joe his record and looks to her for help about setting up the listening party at the shoe store. Madina thinks it’s a good idea and is willing to help. She suggests to have Sianni DJ the event and introduces the two to one another. Taniqua understands the extreme awkwardness in the room due to YDB’s guest list. Things get really weird when YDB asks Da’Zyna to move into the house together with Angela and Maria. Da’Zyna finds this entire thing hilarious. Taniqua eventually pulls Da’Zyna away from Angela and YDB and he’s angry as a result.
To express his displeasure, YDB smashes the cake into the ground. YDB’s guests start eating the cake off the ground and Madina goes off on them. This leads to an argument and JoJo has to take Madina outside.
