Quani has complaints.
After Sky’s failed group bonding event, Puma apologizes to everyone in the shop. Teddy isn’t moved. In a green screen interview, Teddy says Puma continues to struggle as Cease’s partner. Not too long after, Tati comes to the shop stressed out. She has to take a drug test the next day and she’s not prepared. If she fails, she’s going to get locked up. Tati has been stressed about her pending legal issues.
Puma takes Quani to the Brooklyn shop. He tells her that it’s a new shop he’s opening with Cease. Quani isn’t happy about this because Puma made this choice without talking to her first. In a green screen interview, Quani says he still has his own shop, plus the first Black Ink. So she wonders how he will have time to run three shops. With them having a baby, Quani just feels like he’s not making enough time for his family. So she storms off.
London returns.
Sky brings London to the shop. She wants everyone to give her another chance because she knows that everyone has been new at one point. London apologizes to everyone including Donna. Donna accepts her apology.
Not too long after, Walt walks into the shop. He talks to Donna, Kitty, Tati, London, and Krystal about his blowup with Jess. He is really disappointed that Jess doesn’t want to have any more kids. So Krystal offers to give him a tattoo to cheer him up. He agrees to this.
Puma vents about Quani.
Cease takes Kitty out to dinner. He wants to cheer her up and check in with her as she continues to grieve. They discuss Cease opening up a new shop in Brooklyn. Kitty is worried Cease could be putting too much on his plate. But Cease feels like Puma understands his vision. And Kitty tells him she will help him any way she can.
Puma tells Cease that Quani isn’t thrilled about the Brooklyn shop. So Cease suggests Quani starts working at Black Ink. That way they can spend more time together. And Quani can also make some money. Puma reluctantly agrees to ask Quani if she’d be interested.
Rok has relationship problems.
Back at the shop, Rok’s relationship problems follow him. The woman he’s been dating pops up. They have been having drama and she goes off on him when they go outside to talk. She believes he’s changed for the worse since working at Black Ink. She spits on him before leaving.
Tati gets more bad news, Cease is arrested.
Kitty goes by Tati’s place. She’s upset because she failed her drug test. Kitty offers her words of encouragement but Tati is feeling hopeless. She just feels like she was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Puma, Cease, and Teddy go to the Brooklyn shop. When they get there, they see there is a leak in the ceiling. Cease is angry and Puma blames it all on Teddy. Puma claims Teddy was the one who was supposed to be in charge of construction. But Teddy says it’s Puma’s fault. Regardless, Cease storms off after telling them they are responsible for making it right.
Cease gets in his car and calls Kitty on the ride home. They make the conversation short since Cease is driving while angry and he needs to concentrate. Unfortunately for Cease, he sees police lights behind him. He gets arrested and calls Crystal to bail him out.
