Flavor Flav comes through.
The episode picks up with Quan struggling to put in work in the studio. But after some encouragement and coaching from Flavor Flav, Quan gets it together. Flavor felt proud of everything and especially his son. He then goes to the booth himself to add his ad-libs. Meanwhile, Siaani recaps everything that happened at Ryan’s listening party. She vents about how Madina got into her at the event. Madina wants to meet Siaani later on and hash things out. Next, Charli’s open to Siaani going off on her own and finding someone else to manage her.
Taniqua’s ready to get an apology from her brother YDB for his tantrum at his birthday party. She calls his behavior unprofessional and he apologizes. He then asks why Taniqua blocked him with Da’Zyna, calling her his future sister wife. Taniqua tells him Da’Zyna was caught off guard seeing his pregnant baby mama at the party. She also warns YDB about all of these kids, reminding him that his father ODB did the same thing.
Da’Zyna tells Flavor Flav she’s bis*xual.
After the studio session, Da’Zyna’s feeling more respected by Flavor Flav. They all go out to dinner and Flavor learns about Quan’s upcoming performance at JoJo’s showcase. But things go left when Da’Zyna tells Flavor about her date with YDB. Flavor Flav tells Da’Zyna YDB’s is her cousin by marriage. She then tells Flavor and her brothers that she’s bi. Flavor’s happy Da’Zyna opened up to him.
Deb has a hat business and Angie’s a model for the line. Deb has Angie getting dolled up for a photoshoot and while in the makeup chair, Irv Gotti’s parenting skills come up. Specifically, Deb’s angry with Irv about not telling her about JJ’s arrest. Speaking of Irv, he and Ja Rule are hanging out grilling and Irv opens up about Deb’s frustration about it. Charli comes by to link up with Irv and Ja. They talk about the upcoming tour and she tells them about her accident. The accident occurred when she fell off a horse.
Siaani moves on from Charli managing her.
Later on, Brittney and Siaani are hanging out and Siaani’s ready for Charli to leave. Taniqua and Da’Zyna show up and Da’Zyna let it be known that her beef with Brittney was quickly squashed. YDB comes up as a topic and Da’Zyna dishes that she and YDB could be cousins. Taniqua says that this should stop everything between her and YDB. On the other hand, Da’Zyna seems to be still open to getting to know YDB as she’s open to polyamory.
Deb brings JJ to see Irv and talk about his legal troubles. Luckily for JJ, he just got off with a fine. But this then turns to Deb’s frustration with Irv with not telling her about the arrest. Irv says JJ asked him not to tell Deb. If it was something more serious, Irv says he would’ve told her.
Madina meets up with Siaani to talk about what happened at Ryan’s party. Siaani explains what happened and tells Madina she doesn’t feel supported by her mom. She feels her career would be further if Charli was more involved. So Madina offers her services and becomes a mentor. Madina does warn Siaani that she won’t take it easy on her.
YDB doesn’t seem to care about Da’Zyna possibly being his cousin.
Meanwhile, JoJo and YDB are shooting hoops in the park and YDB was homesick. YDB missed his multiple women. Da’Zyna comes by to chop it up with YDB about his baby mama Angela.
YDB says he’s planning to move his baby mamas together. So Da’Zyna’s about to put the breaks on that. When she drops the news that they may be cousins, YDB doesn’t want to put a stop on his pursuit. She suggests to take a DNA test to confirm this and he agrees.
