Tension is thick.
The gang is en route to Cleveland for Walt’s comedy show. Although things went left at dinner the other night, Donna is excited to go back to her hometown. Kitty is still feeling some type of way about Sky accusing her of sleeping with Ryan from 9Mag. In a green screen interview, Kitty says the rumor is not true.
Tati is also still feeling some type of way about her blowup with Teddy. She doesn’t think it’s fair that he’s interjecting himself into her love life.
Teddy and Cease want to avoid Tati and Kitty.
Ceaser gets a FaceTime call from Sky while he’s riding with Teddy to the airport. Neither really wants to see Tati and Kitty. Sky tells them that she made sure they will be on different flights. But that doesn’t solve the issue of everyone having to face each other at the rental house.
When the others get to the rental house, Donna tells everyone that she and Alex will be going to her mother’s house.
Cease vents about Kitty.
Sky, Teddy, and Ceaser touch down in Cleveland. They talk about what happened with Kitty and Tati. Ceaser feels some type of way about Kitty possibly sleeping with Ryan. In a green screen interview, he says he’s disappointed that Kitty is a homie hopper. He really thought she was classy.
At this point, Ceaser and Teddy tell Sky to make Kitty and Tati stay in a hotel. Sky leaves the car to talk to both women after they pull up to the driveway.
Donna introduces Alex to her family.
Alex and Donna make it to her mother’s house. Alex greets Donna’s sister as well as her mother. Not too long after her father and brother show up. Things get weird when Alex first introduces himself as the V*gina Slayer. Regardless, Donna’s dad moves on and questions if Alex is dating Donna for a come up. This makes Alex nervous and he knocks the drinks on the table over.
Kitty and Cease clash.
Sky goes into the house and tells everyone that Cease and Teddy want Tati and Kitty to leave. Both women refuse and storm outside to confront Cease and Teddy who are still sitting in the car. Cease isn’t hearing it and says that he knew Walt before they did so they need to go. Kitty gets mad and gets all up in his face. A screaming match ensues. Security then pulls Kitty away and Ceaser says Kitty is “bugging.”
Kitty then goes inside the house and goes off. Sky talks with Kitty and Tati. When Sky asks if Kitty slept with Ryan, she doesn’t answer and Tati asks why it matters. At this point, Kitty feels like Cease doesn’t care about her anymore and she’s hurt.
Tati and Teddy talk it out.
Teddy and Ceaser enter the house. Tati decides to talk to Teddy about what’s going on. Teddy says that he has ownership in Black Ink. And although they didn’t work out, he believed that Tati would have more respect than to date another employee. But he apologizes for his previous outburst.
Donna, Mike, Alex, and Bae go out for drinks. A few of Donna’s childhood friends meet them there. Donna pulls Alex to the side and tells him one of her exes is on the way. She assures Alex that they are just friends now. The ex turns out to be a woman named Nique. This throws off Alex at first but Nique assures him they really are just friends.
Cease fires Kitty.
Donna’s family throws a cookout. Alex continues to struggle to make any progress with Donna’s parents. In fact, Donna’s father appears to like Nique much more.
Cease and Teddy show up. After Cease spots Kitty, he pulls her aside to talk. He says that he doesn’t feel like they can ever be in a good place again. So he’s firing her. Kitty tells everyone goodbye before threatening to sue. In a green screen interview, Cease says that everyone knows Kitty slept with Ryan so her not being honest with him is embarrassing.
