Toya and Eugene show off their new house.
Eugene and Toya have the first dinner party at their new house. Cecil, Simone, and their son Miles arrive. As they show off the house, the Whitmore family is very impressed. Of course one of Toya’s favorite things is her two-story closet.
While Jackie is driving home from work, she talks to Quad about planning a book release party. She was really inspired by the one Quad just had.
It’s time for another couples trip.
Simone and Cecil tell Toya and Eugene they are hosting the next couples trip. The group will be going to Cabo. Toya doesn’t understand why Quad is invited but Simone says it’s the right thing to do since she almost divorced Cecil. She doesn’t think they should dump Quad.
Scott and Contessa see a counselor.
Contessa and Scott attend a counseling session. When Scott gets a phone call, he steps outside for a moment. Contessa says this bothers her and he answers the phone during moments when she’s trying to connect. When he returns, Contessa says Scott doesn’t make her feel important. So this makes her want to be selfish and look out for herself.
When it comes to Contessa going back to school, she says Scott wasn’t really supportive. Scott admits he was very overwhelmed with the kids. With him feeling like Contessa left the program because of him, he doesn’t want Contessa to resent him.
Jackie calls Buffie infertile.
It’s the day of Jackie’s book launch party. She gives a speech about how being a Breast Cancer survivor has prevented her from being able to have kids. She then says Buffie can relate because she’s infertile. The cameras pan to Buffie and she looks devastated. In a green screen interview, Toya questions why Jackie would say this about Buffie in a room full of people Buffie doesn’t know.
In a green screen interview, Buffie says she’s never had deep conversations with Jackie about her fertility issues. So she has no idea why Jackie would say that in a room full of strangers. After this happens, the other women check on Buffie to make sure she’s okay. In a green screen interview, Buffie and her husband talk about their struggles to become parents over the years. It’s a painful thing to discuss.
Simone puts her foot down.
When the women get together, Simone announces the couples trip. Toya says it shouldn’t be called a couples trip anymore. Simone says Quad is invited and Mariah questions why she’s changed her stance since last season. Heavenly says Quad is going and that’s that. And Contessa says people can just not go if they have a problem with Quad going. As for Simone, she says her stance changed because Quad proved that she can do just fine on a couples trip.
The group arrives in Cabo. They have a dance contest to determine which couple will get the penthouse suite. Heavenly and Damon are victorious. But Scott and Contessa were very close.
