Kenya opens up to Porsha.
Cynthia calls up Porsha to invite her to her annual Bailey Que. The theme requires all the women to wear red. And she doesn’t want anyone to bring their kids. Porsha throws some shade and says Eva may not bring her kids because she doesn’t know anyone well enough. In a green screen interview, Cynthia says she doesn’t think Eva not bringing her kids to Brooklyn’s party was shady.
Kenya and Porsha go to a dance class with their daughters. After they finish up, Kenya tells Porsha about how things have soured with Marc. She admits they haven’t had s-x in a while. Kenya gets teary-eyed while talking about it.
Yovanna spills some tea.
Kandi and Todd drop Riley off in New York. She wants to be an attorney, so she’s going to be interning with Kandi’s entertainment lawyer. She will be staying in an apartment in the city. Todd’s daughter Kayla will be living with her. In a green screen interview, Kandi says it’s good to see the woman Riley is becoming at 16 years old.
While Marlo and NeNe are catching up at NeNe’s house, Yovanna comes by. They discuss Cynthia. Yovanna says she went to Cynthia’s wine cellar and Cynthia was going in on NeNe. Apparently, Cynthia said NeNe is toxic. NeNe says that Cynthia has an aggressive hood side to her that no one has seen but her.
Kenya is ready to regift Eva’s gift.
Kandi meets Kenya at her place on the day of Cynthia’s Bailey Que. Kenya tells Kandi that she’s going to regift the doll Eva gave Brooklyn by giving it to Porsha. She still feels some type of way about Eva’s comments explaining why she didn’t bring her kids to Brooklyn’s party.
Cynthia tells Eva that Kenya got mad at her when she asked everyone not to bring her kids. After Porsha explained she has to bring PJ, Cynthia called up Kenya to tell her she can bring Brooklyn. However, Kenya was very short with her and refused to.
The ladies begin to arrive. After Yovanna arrives, they discuss NeNe. Cynthia says that she didn’t do anything shady by inviting Kenya to her Seagam’s event last season. Although Yovanna tells Cynthia she did drag NeNe during a past conversation, Cynthia says everything she said was true.
Kenya clashes with Eva and Cynthia.
After Porsha gets there, Kenya gives her the doll Eva gave Baby Brooklyn. Porsha doesn’t want to accept the doll and tells Eva that she feels she and Kenya need to hash things out. Eva denies that she said she was worried about Kenya’s energy because she doesn’t know her. However, producers flashback to the scene and Cynthia actually said that she can understand that Eva wants to make sure the energy is right. As for Eva, all she said that the group events can get a little “crazy.”
Kenya warns Eva that she doesn’t want a problem with her. After Kenya brings up the fact that Eva said that Cynthia paid Will to date her years ago, Cynthia says that she and Eva are passed that. Kenya gets mad and tells Cynthia to not interrupt her. Cynthia isn’t having it and they argue. As for Eva, she says that she didn’t come for Kenya. But she’s not about to entertain this.
Eva and Marlo go at it.
Marlo and Eva have another heated moment in which Marlo tells Eva that she lives above her means. Eva says it’s time for her to go because she’s not about to fight with Marlo during her pregnancy. But Marlo wouldn’t understand because she’s never been pregnant. As Eva begins to walk away, Marlo says this is why she doesn’t like Eva. And Eva needs to stop living above her means.
Cynthia then acknowledges the fact that she oftentimes befriends strong women. And it can lead to drama. But she has no problem getting anyone together. The other women laugh at this. After Kenya tells Marlo to be quiet, they start arguing. And Marlo tells Kenya that she needs to be passive at this moment like she’s passive with Marc at home.
Kenya opens up.
At the end of the event, Cynthia wants to give out awards that the ladies must vote on. When it comes to who is the most insecure, all the women discuss their insecurities. It gets emotional after Kenya says she’s insecure because she’s never had unconditional love before. Not even from Marc.
