Eva Marcille has been getting a lot of backlash from RHOA fans for the current season. They feel as if she crossed the line with some of her comments about Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, and Marlo Hampton. However, Eva firmly believes that anything she says will be completely dissected, while this isn’t really the case for the other women.

At her gig on, “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” Eva addressed her controversial comments. On the topic of calling Kenya and Porsha nappy heads, Eva said, “Well, we all have…I am definitely head of the nappy head committee, my momma and my daughter. Anybody that identifies with us, welcome. And if you don’t identify with that then that’s totally fine. I mean nothing offensive. I happen to be a black woman.”

Eva doesn’t feel like saying Kenya had a later in life baby was a jab. She said, “But when it comes to having a later in life baby, anything after 35 is clinically considered a geriatric pregnancy. Anything after 35. So to say someone is having a later in life baby is a very nice way of saying that you’re having a baby after the clinical time that doctors think is the optimal time to have a child. No one’s throwing a dig. Now if you are offended that you had a baby later in life, then that’s your personal beef. Not mine.”

The nappy heads comment was discussed again. And Eva doesn’t understand why it’s wrong for black people to use the term. She said, “I’m not offended by the things that make me beautifully black. I guess what perturbs me is that we as a community are offended by the things that identify us.”

She also doesn’t regret what she said about Marlo. Eva felt it was best to walk away from drama while pregnant. And Marlo called it “running away” but Eva wanted to avoid stress. She still believes Marlo doesn’t understand this because she’s not a mother.
