“Married to Medicine” star Mariah Huq created the show and serves as an Executive Producer. While she has said she does give her opinions on casting, she does not have the power to fire anyone.
So this keeps Mariah’s foes safe from being removed from the show as things heat up. Interestingly enough, Dr. Jackie Walters believes Mariah would fire her from the show if she had the power. She said this to Dr. Heavenly Kimes as they filmed another session of their “Open & Honest” podcast.
This was said after Heavenly said she wouldn’t fire any of the women, including Mariah, seeing as they all bring something different to the show. But Heavenly believes Mariah would fire her. Jackie then said that Mariah would keep Heavenly before she kept Jackie.
