News breaks about Kenya and Marc’s split.
The women are preparing for their trip to Greece. As Porsha packs, she sees on the internet that Kenya and Marc are getting a divorce. The news travels fast and all the women begin to react to it. It’s a shocking revelation for them.
NeNe then FaceTimes Marlo about it. Both women are shocked this happened after they were just at the charity event 48 hours ago. In a green screen interview, NeNe questions if the marriage was ever legal.
Kandi and Cynthia meet up to talk about Kenya and Marc’s split. In a green screen interview, Kandi says that she knows that both got into a very bad argument after the charity event. As for Cynthia, she says she would have been left Marc if she was in Kenya’s shoes. There are things that Kenya told her that made her feel like the relationship wasn’t one worth saving.
Kenya explains what happened.
Both Cynthia and Kandi head over to Kenya’s house. When they get there, Kenya is in tears. She tells them that she is confused about everything. Kenya says she went to sleep and her publicist called her saying that she got a phone call that Marc and Kenya were separating. And Marc was preparing to make a statement. So Kenya’s hand was forced to make a statement. Marc acted irritated with Kenya the whole time at his charity event. And when they left, he told Kenya he didn’t even want her to come to the event and she ruined his night.
Kenya feels like Marc hits below the belt when they have disagreements. After the charity event, things got intense in their Uber ride. So the driver told Marc he had to get out of the car. Marc got out of hand and Kenya told Marc he couldn’t come back to her house.
In a green screen interview, Kenya says Marc has never hit her but her past with domestic violence made her feel uncomfortable.
Marc has messed up before.
Kenya doesn’t want a divorce and her instincts make her think Marc could be having an affair. One of the women he was texting begged him to keep sleeping with her even though he’s married. When Kenya reads these texts, she called Marc out about it. She also called the woman and threatened to come to her house if she goes anywhere near Marc. The woman lives in New York.
Even though Marc was supposed to stop communicating with this woman, he actually hasn’t.
They have talked about separating before but Marc said he would change his ways.
Marc’s behavior the night of the charity event is hard to accept considering the text message situation. She also has Brooklyn on her mind. She wants to be a good example and staying with Marc may not be a good thing for her daughter to see.
As she breaks down in tears again, Kandi and Cynthia console her. With everything going on, Kenya says she doesn’t think she can go to Greece because it seems like the other girls hate her and want to laugh in her face. But Kandi and Cynthia urge her to still come and take some time to think about it.
Kenya shows up.
The women arrive at the airport for the Greece trip. Porsha shows up with PJ and her mother. In a green screen interview, Porsha says she is blessed to be able to bring them with her.
Marlo asks Kandi and Cynthia if the news about Marc and Kenya is true. Kandi urges the women to not bring the situation up and Marlo says she can’t make that promise. NeNe says this is karma and Kenya should have had empathy for Tanya but she chose not to.
When Tanya gets there, the women get on their flight. Kenya doesn’t show up.
After the women land in Greece and board their bus, they see Kenya headed their way. Everyone is surprised she made the trip after all.
Marlo thinks there’s a double standard.
Kenya tells Kandi that she decided to bring Brooklyn and her nanny with her. While talking to Kandi, she says she doesn’t want to talk about her marriage. Kenya makes it on the bus. In a green screen interview, Marlo says that if anyone else was getting a divorce, they would be asked about it. But Kenya seems to be getting a pass from the group.
The ladies make it to their rental villa. Kandi and Kenya will be getting the two master bedrooms since they planned the trip. And they are going to make the other women compete for their rooms.
Cynthia agrees to wash the dishes so she gets the room she wants.
NeNe agrees to take off all her makeup and lashes to get the room of her choice.
The other women must eat some of the raw foods like the oysters offered to get their rooms. Porsha spits hers out and Tanya wins. So she chooses her room.
Porsha jumps in the pool to take someone else’s room. She chooses Tanya’s room.
Cynthia asks NeNe for a favor.
Later on, Cynthia goes by NeNe’s room and talks to her. She says that she feels like NeNe would be the best person to offer advice to Kenya about working out a troubled marriage. NeNe isn’t so sure this will go well but Cynthia says that she is hopeful they can actually hash things out.
NeNe says that she doesn’t have to like someone to still be concerned. And it’s not that she doesn’t like Kenya, it’s just that Kenya hasn’t wanted to make peace.
Not too long after, the women get together to have some drinks.
Kenya snubs NeNe.
When Kenya arrives, NeNe asks her if she still has her dogs. She says yes and that it’s hard with a baby. In a green screen interview, Kenya says her only real friends in the group are Kandi and Cynthia. She just doesn’t trust that the others genuinely care about her.
Kandi reveals that she got a role on “The Chi” and she’s playing the wife of a man who is running for mayor. It’s a little weird for Todd that she will be romantic with another man on the show. But he will adjust.
NeNe brings up the divorce and asks if Kenya is okay. She thanks everyone for their support (except NeNe) and starts breaking down in tears. Kenya never thought she would be getting a divorce. In a green screen interview, Tanya says Kenya’s treatment of her now makes a lot of sense. She wasn’t happy in her marriage and took her feelings out on Tanya.
Regardless, Kenya doesn’t want the news to overshadow the trip. So she wants everyone to move on and just focus on having a good time.
After they have a little more alcohol, Cynthia says she wants NeNe and Kenya to stay behind and talk. But Kenya says she doesn’t want to and gets up to leave.
Kenya explains why she snubbed NeNe.
Marlo says it’s messed up that Kenya is refusing to talk to NeNe. In a green screen interview, NeNe says she was trying to be genuine but Kenya is a sad woman with bad skin.
Later on, Kenya says that she doesn’t want to address her issues with NeNe right now because it’s just not a good time. Tanya says she should just tell NeNe this before NeNe takes it the wrong way.
Kenya agrees and says she will let NeNe know she wants to talk another time.
NeNe closes the door.
But at this point, NeNe is over it and she’s ready to head back to her room. Kandi tries to explain everything but NeNe says the door is closed. As far as she’s concerned, she and Kenya don’t have to talk ever.
NeNe heads to her room as Kenya explains to Marlo and Cynthia why it’s best to talk to NeNe some other time.
