Eva closes a chapter.
It’s Eva’s last day in her condo. So it’s an emotional day for her but she’s happy to be moving into her forever home with Michael and the kids.
Kenya and Kandi update each other on their marriages.
Kandi and Kenya catch up at Kenya’s house. Of course, Kandi tells Kenya about her conversation with Todd. She breaks down in tears and says that she does realize she works too much. But everything she does is to help her family. In a green screen interview, Kandi says she helps a lot of people, not just her family. So she feels like she has to work a lot.
Kenya wonders how much money Kandi really needs to make. She thinks Kandi’s marriage deserves more attention.
They discuss Marc. Kenya blocked him and doesn’t want to unblock him until he learns how to talk to her.
Cynthia wants it all.
Cynthia’s sister Mal is managing the Bailey Wine Cellar. It’s been an interesting set up for them as Cynthia sometimes feels as if Mal doesn’t remember she’s the boss.
The sisters discuss Noelle. She’s decided to pursue an acting career. So she’s been living in LA with Mike. Cynthia hates that she’s staying in Atlanta for now. She wants to figure out a way to have it all and be with her family in LA.
Porsha and Dennis aren’t on the same page.
Dennis tells Porsha that commuting from the city to Porsha’s place is very inconvenient. He still feels as if she stays too far away from the city. He also doesn’t like the fact that Porsha kicked him out when they were on bad terms. He’s not convinced she won’t do it again.
Porsha admits she wants Dennis at her house all the time because the trust isn’t completely back yet. But Dennis hates that it takes him two hours to get to Porsha’s house every day.
There’s also been pressure from others to come up with a wedding date.
Dennis doesn’t want to have a wedding. He just wants to run off and do it without inviting a whole lot of people he doesn’t believe really cares about them.
This upsets Porsha and she gets even more irritated when Dennis says they need to get a prenup since Porsha kicked him out of her house. Her doing so showed him that what’s hers is hers.
Gregg and NeNe celebrate a milestone.
NeNe and Gregg have a romantic night. Rose petals are on the floor and they drink some champagne to celebrate 23 years of marriage.
Gregg’s cancer battle was tough on the marriage and it made it hard for them to be intimate. NeNe even figured he’d want an open marriage. Turns out, Gregg doesn’t. So they have decided to pump up their intimacy.
Kandi checks in.
Todd is doing a walkthrough for the baby shower. Shamea is in attendance and Kandi FaceTimes Todd while she’s in Chicago filming “The Chi.” She’s thankful Don Juan is there to make sure everything is done right.
Cynthia gives Kenya some support.
Kenya is packing up Marc’s things. It’s tough for her to come to terms with the state of her marriage. Cynthia comes by to help her.
Marc has a lot of stuff in Kenya’s closet and she tells Cynthia he was there all the time.
They haven’t spoken even though he’s FaceTimed to speak to Brooklyn with the nanny.
Kenya says Marc needs to make the first move and show that he wants to save the marriage. Cynthia tells Kenya that both of them have to work to fix things. And to Cynthia, it doesn’t seem as if Marc has been trying. And Kenya tells Cynthia that she doesn’t even have Marc’s parents’ contact information. So it’s just a weird place to be in.
Cynthia consoles Kenya and tells her she’s deserving of love and respect.
Eva may have another court battle on the way.
Eva shows Cynthia her new home. They also discuss Marley’s biological father Kevin. He’s now trying to get full custody. So she has to get ready to see him in court.
Kandi and Todd put everything out on the table.
Todd and Kandi have a counseling session with a psychologist named Machel.
Both admit that they work a lot together but they don’t spend enough time together outside of work. And Todd doesn’t like that Kandi will book herself busy when she’s in Atlanta. This affects Ace a lot and he will ask where Kandi is.
Todd says that Kandi puts work and friends before her family. And Kandi says Todd works just as much as she does. But she understands she needs to learn how to balance things.
Kandi also says she feels like Todd wants to control what she does for his daughter Kaela. And he didn’t even want Kandi to give Kaela money for her birthday.
But Todd says he doesn’t want to teach Kaela that she gets money for doing nothing.
So it’s clear that Kandi and Todd have different parenting styles.
They also admit that their sex life isn’t as good as it used to be. Their dreams and businesses have just taken priority. So Machel says that they need to start doing things that will help them like having date nights.
