Lawrence got good news.

Issa and Lawrence are out when Lawrence tells her the good news; he got the job and will be moving soon to San Francisco. He asks if the distance is a deal-breaker and Issa says no. Issa is at a point in her life where she’s willing to cut things out and make things work with Lawrence.

Meanwhile, Andrew and Molly are out at a black lawyer mixer, mingling with Molly’s colleagues. They get invited to an after-party but Andrew’s lukewarm about going.

Nathan apologizes to Issa.

The next day, Issa heads to Nathan’s shop to see the space for his new venture; owning a barbershop. Issa’s impressed and says it is the perfect place for her new event. Nathan then apologizes for shading Lawrence and admits he was in his feelings. But he wants them to be friends.

Tiffany’s missing.

When Molly and Andrew return from the mixer, a fight ensues about Andrew not wanting to stay out and both of them not meeting each other halfway about their priorities. But Kelli calls with an emergency. Tiffany’s missing and they can’t find her. She heads over to Tiffany’s place where Issa and Tiffany’s mom are already present while Derek calls the movie theater where Tiffany was last seen. Afterward, they all head to the theater and find out Tiffany got drunk off margaritas at the movie theater bar.

Issa deduces Tiffany Uber’d to a nearby Mexican restaurant. At the restaurant, they see footage where Tiffany left to get on a local bus. So, they take a bus and Derek reveals he knew Tiffany wasn’t happy in their marriage. Throughout all of this, Issa and Molly support Derek without talking to one another.

While on the bus, Kelli finds out Tiffany is at the Sheraton hotel but they missed the bus stop and force themselves off the bus. The bus driver gets the attention of the LAPD and the officers accost them. Molly was able to calm down the situation and they get to the hotel where Tiffany’s located.

When Tiffany opens the door, she faces Derek and apologizes for what happened, saying she didn’t know what to do. Motherhood has been a tough adjustment. Derek hears her out and consoles her.

Andrew’s ready to move on.

The next day, Molly and Andrew seemingly are in a decent place and talk about their argument. However, Andrew tells Molly he doesn’t feel that they are on the same page. And at this point, he questions if they are even compatible. Molly fights to keep them together but Andrew asks if this is what she really wants. He’s over trying to make it work. And he feels like he’s always willing to make sacrifices while Molly will not.

Lawrence has bad news.

Meanwhile, Lawrence stops by to see Issa at her place. He tells Issa that Condola is pregnant and he learned this the night before. Issa’s clearly shocked at the news that Condola is keeping the baby.

Although he’s adamant he wants to be with Issa, Issa’s not sure if she can handle this. All Issa can do at this point is to wipe her tears away when he leaves. She then heads on her balcony for reflection. Later that night, Issa meets Molly at the Ethiopian restaurant to talk.

The episode ends as they open up to each other about everything.
