Candiace and Monique’s truce didn’t last.
At the reunion for the previous season of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” it seemed like Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard would be able to save their friendship. Both got emotional as they discussed their fallout. But they hugged it out and agreed they would put the past behind them. Apparently, that agreement to move forward fell apart swiftly. They clashed while filming the upcoming season, and things got violent.
It was reported that Monique assaulted Candiace. And both women were ready to face-off in court over the altercation. However, charges were dismissed for both. But they probably won’t ever be friends, again.
In the meantime, Candiace has seemingly gotten closer to Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon.
Rumor has it they had her back after the altercation happened. And they have been pushing for Monique’s removal from the show. And on the preview for the upcoming season, Gizelle says that she doesn’t want to be around Monique ever again. In her opinion, the ladies of RHOP have always stayed above the stereotypes. So Monique ruined that.
Of, course Monique doesn’t see things that way but it’s clear she’s pretty much done with the Green-Eyed Bandits and Candiace.
Fans accuse the trio of being in an alliance.
Regardless of the drama, Candiace recently had Gizelle and Robyn over her house to catch up. Her husband Chris Bassett cooked for them as they shared some laughs. Gizelle posted photos of this hangout to her Instagram account hours ago. While some of her followers were happy to see the trio together, others were not. Some fans of the show slammed them and accused them of being in an alliance against Monique. Others accused them of having fake friendships because of their common dislike of Monique.
Either way, Gizelle had a good time. In her caption, she wrote, “We have quarantined for months and miss laughing about nothing.”
Robyn wrote, “I didn’t realize how much I miss you ladies.”
And Candiace added, “The kiki was real.”
