Jazmin looks out for Shanique.
Shanique drops by Jazmin’s house. Jazmin is throwing a Christmas party. She says her husband might be there. But in a green screen interview, she says he’s a busy man but she would like for him to show up.
They then discuss Shanique’s desire to switch careers. So Jazmin gives Shanique Josh Altman’s phone number. He’s one of the top celebrity real estate agents in LA. Of course, Shanique is really happy about this. She thanks Jazmin and gives her a big hug.
Imani catches up with her mom.
At Imani’s place, she gets a visit from her mother. Her son Idris says he wants money for Christmas so he can buy all the things he wants.
Imani gives a recap about the Palm Springs trip and talks about the sex toys she was gifted. Phil is discussed, and Imani’s mother tells Idris that Imani will be happier now that the marriage is over. But sex toys make some people happy. Idris then jokes and asks to see the sex toys so he can put them on the Christmas tree.
Hobart supports Kendra’s choice.
Kendra comes clean to Hobart and says she signed a contract with the place she interviewed with. But she did make it clear that she would have to scale it back if she needs to as a new mother. After talking to Mack and Robert, Hobart tells Kendra he understands and he just wants to support her in whatever she chooses to do. Kendra is grateful.
Shanique’s meeting goes well.
Shanique meets with Josh Altman. She tells him she’s in property management but she wants to become a real estate agent. He tells her it’s really competitive, and she needs to get with a team. And she needs to understand that it’s a 24/7 job. So people who try to do it part-time fail.
After Shanique says that she wants to help Robert’s doctor friends find their dream homes, Josh tells her this is a great niche for her.
Mack and Britten make progress.
Britten has finally kicked her son out of the bedroom. She began to see the error of her ways while spending time with the ladies in Palm Springs.
When Lia and Kendra catch up and go shopping, they discuss Jazmin’s Christmas party. They think it’s odd that they still haven’t met Jazmin’s husband. And they wonder if he will be at the party. At this point, Lia wonders if he even exists.
Jazmin’s husband is a no-show.
As Jazmin is prepping for the Christmas party, she plans to have security to keep the other women from going upstairs and getting too nosy in her house. She feels this is necessary after so much interest has been expressed in her husband.
It’s the night of Jazmin’s Christmas party. The ladies are put off by the fact that Jazmin has an armed security guard. When they attempt to go up the stairs to see if he’s up there, the security guard stops them. They have no choice but to let it go and just enjoy the gospel choir Jazmin has there to sing Christmas songs.
