RHOA rumors continue to go viral.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” is staying in the headlines as rumors run rampant about the upcoming season. As always, when one season wraps up, speculation about the cast begins. Fans are always hearing about who was fired and who was asked back.
Sometimes it’s just the case of wanting old faces to return. For months now, it’s been rumored that Phaedra Parks could come back. Others have been hoping Sheree Whitfield could also come back in some capacity.
Interestingly enough, Cynthia Bailey is always a target. It’s usually rumored she’s been fired. And the number one complaint is that some viewers feel Cynthia is too boring to continue to hold a peach. This fraction of the fanbase believes Cynthia doesn’t add much to the show, and she’s not involved enough in the major storylines for the season.

Of course, Cynthia has noticed the criticism. While she hasn’t really addressed it in the past, she’s speaking up now. It’s clear she’s had enough, too.
During a recent interview with Refinery 29, she opened up about how it feels to be a black reality star. Cynthia believes it comes with a lot of pressure. Since she’s a black woman, she feels obligated to not embarrass her people with her actions on a television show.
But what bothers her the most is when other black people say she’s too boring for RHOA. She believes that a black person can’t say they are for uplifting the culture and then call her boring for representing black women in a positive way. Cynthia said doing so is “reckless.”
Cynthia also told Refinery 29 that she has a responsibility to be a positive example of what black women look like. She believes that the RHOA cast can be entertaining without being negative. So it’s “hurtful” when black people call her boring for not wanting to “turn up” and “act like a fool.”
