LHHATL Star LightSkinKeisha Defends Her Rap Name Amid Backlash

LightSkinKeisha’s name is controversial for some rap fans.

When it comes to today’s female rappers, most of them aren’t scared of controversy. In fact, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s controversial song “WAP” has been the number one song in the country for two weeks. And “Love And Hip Hop Miami” star Sukihana thinks the song is empowering. While the song has been getting a lot of support, some music critics are wondering who the next group of successful female rappers will be.

Some aren’t convinced LightSkinKeisha can get massive commercial success with her name.

In fact, this has been discussed a lot on Twitter for the last several days. And a viral tweet had a lot of people giving their thoughts about LightSkinKeisha’s future.

LightSkinKeisha responds to her latest critics.

Recently, commentary on LightSkinKeisha came up again on Twitter. This occurred after some Twitter users began calling out some artists and public figures for still doing shows and paid club appearances amid the pandemic.

After LightSkinKeisha tweeted that people don’t have a right to speak on this, she became a target herself. One Twitter user said she was next to be called out and her rap name is an issue.

LightSkinKeisha decided to clap back.

In response, she wrote, “My name ain’t nothing but a description miss head and shoulders….but since a hit dog wanna holla….let’s get into it with yo no neck having a*s….I’m the right one”

Another Twitter user told the rapper she’s brown-skinned and she needs to focus on getting verified on Twitter.

LightSkinKeisha then wrote, “Girl f*ck a verification check b*tch I got a check in REAL life….regardless of what you think I am….b*tch I’m black and proud to be!!!….now kiss these a*s cheeks….NEXT CALLER”
