Jennifer was accused of talking about Evelyn’s daughter.
When it comes to making amends, “Basketball Wives” stars Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams may never get to that point. Although they have had issues in the past and were able to move forward, the last straw came recently. After Jennifer was accused of calling Shanice a “latchkey kid,” Evelyn was furious.
Drinks were thrown and words were exchanged.
And with a new season on the way, Jennifer Williams recently shared her thoughts on her former friend.
Jennifer explains why she isn’t trying to fix things with Evelyn.
While talking to Carlos King, Jennifer revealed there’s no saving the friendship this time. She said, “You know, Evelyn and I were friends for over 20 years. And listen, reason, season, lifetime. And sometimes you outgrow people and some things you can’t come back from. And sometimes you try and it doesn’t work and for me, it’s like I did at one point value our friendship. There’s no ill will. I wish Evelyn well but I don’t want her in my world. I don’t want the energy. I’m not trying to do like…as NeNe Leakes would say, ‘The door is closed.’”
She added, “I’m good. I feel like I have tried and it just never works because it’s always something. And I’m at the point of my life where I really don’t care. You can say Jennifer did, Jennifer said, it doesn’t matter to me anymore because it’s not going to change the situation. So you could blame me for whatever at this point but I’m good. You know, and I feel like, again, I wish her well. But that time has expired. It’s like stale milk.”
