Hazel-E finds “blood” on De’Von.
The finale begins with Hazel going off on De’Von who’s drunk in their room. She saw “blood” on his pants and immediately thought it was a girl leaving her mark on him. However, Phaedra tells Hazel that it’s vomit.
The next morning, the women wake up from their night together. Tahiry openly wonders if any of them will leave without a ring. Phaedra still isn’t willing to be physical with Medina. De’Von woke up still drunk, meanwhile.
Later on, Willie’s still nervous about the lie detector and Tahiry isn’t so sure she and Vado could still be friends in light of what happened.
The couples get their lie detector results.
Dr. Ish and Judge Toler bring everyone together to go over the test results. Judge Toler presents Medina and Phaedra their results. Both answered their questions honestly; Medina wants to be in a sexual relationship with Phaedra and Phaedra doesn’t. Medina is frustrated about Phaedra not wanting to move forward. Judge Toler tells Phaedra it’s okay to be single. Meanwhile, Phaedra says they really don’t have chemistry.
Next, Shanda and Willie get their answers. Willie intends to not cheat on Shanda again. However, Shanda’s result is placed in an envelope for Willie to open later when he’s ready.
The first one with deception is revealed when Judge Toler brings up Tahiry. She didn’t answer truthfully regarding whether or not she accepts violence as a normal part of her relationship. Tahiry strongly disagrees. She then gets Vado’s answer via an envelope. She can open it when she’s ready.
Hazel goes off on De’Von.
Then De’Von and Hazel stand up. Hazel doesn’t like the results of the test as deception was indicated. De’Von was asked whether or not he was with her for clout and he said no. Hazel’s visibly disturbed by the results. She then storms off to a balcony to cry. Phaedra and Shanda console her. Meanwhile, Judge Toler talks to Tahiry about the results. Tahiry was visibly frustrated. She learns that Vado will be at the ceremony.
While with the guys, De’Von seemingly admits to possibly dating Hazel-E for clout in the beginning. However, he says it’s more than that presently; he’s in love with her. He knows Hazel’s hurt and decides to speak to her. Security’s nearby if things get too tense. When he approaches Hazel, he tells her he’s willing to do anything to prove he wants her for who she is and not the clout.
This doesn’t calm her down as she throws water on him and storms off. De’Von follows into their room and she cries going off. She yells that he got the clout he wanted being on TV. Medina and security pulled De’Von out of the room before things escalate further.
Dr. Ish approaches her to calm her down.
Couples decide to stay together or leave the house apart.
It’s three hours until the ceremony and Vado enters the house. The ladies are also in makeup. Hazel-E got interesting advice from her mom. Hazel’s mom tells her to have De’Von sign a management contract and Hazel seemingly agrees. Phaedra agrees too. Downstairs, Medina is still frustrated with Phaedra’s answer. Hazel’s still pondering her mom’s advice and Tahiry gives her opinion; give De’Von the contract.
Finally, it’s time for the couples to present their rings, or not. Willie and Shanda go first. Shanda’s impressed with how Willie grew during their time in the home. However, she’s not sure she can get over the infidelity. Willie says he isn’t sure he can’t get over the mistrust. However, their questions aren’t enough to call off their marriage. Both present rings.
The emotion from all of it brings Shanda to tears with Willie by her side. Next, Hazel-E is ready to give De’Von a reality check. De’Von tells Hazel he loves her and that clout isn’t why he’s there. Hazel-E, meanwhile, reveals she’s sick of being used. De’Von presents Hazel her ring and Hazel presents her management contract with her ring. De’Von agrees to sign it without reading it until his green screen interview. He will give Hazel 30 percent of all the money he earns. They celebrate the ring and contract with a kiss.
Willie and Shanda are perplexed by their turn of events.
Phaedra and Medina are next and Phaedra openly wonders why Medina’s so frustrated by her lie detector test. They both present compliments. However, Medina says she isn’t ready for a man like him and Phaedra feels he doesn’t face problems head-on. Phaedra presents the ring to Medina but Medina doesn’t present her with one. Instead, he holds the ring for her if they change their minds in the future. For now, they will just be friends but the future is open. Dr. Ish was impressed with their maturity and allows them to stay and celebrate.
Tahiry confronts Vado.
Finally, it’s Tahiry’s time to face Vado. She’s dressed up in a skin-tight black dress but Vado is very casually dressed in track pants and running shoes. Tahiry sheds tears when she sees him and explains how she felt when he put his hands on her. Tahiry says most men would’ve walked away when she threw the apples. So she’s keeping the ring as a sign of “self-love.” She also gives Vado the envelope of the lie detector result. She puts the ring on and then Dr. Ish has Vado leave.
Vado says he will always have love for Tahiry and he wants to do right by a woman.
Afterward, Dr. Ish and Judge Toler join the remaining cast for a toast.
