Cynthia and NeNe’s friendship fizzled out.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey has received criticism for her friendships. In fact, her most recent fallout with NeNe Leakes was a hot topic on social media. During Kenya Moore’s absence on the show, Cynthia decided to invite Kenya to her Seagram’s event. She wanted Kenya to be there as she revealed her new alcoholic beverage. However, Cynthia did not give NeNe a heads up about this. So NeNe felt betrayed.
Cynthia would later say she didn’t tell NeNe that Kenya was coming because she didn’t know that Kenya would show up. However, the audio would later come out of Cynthia telling Kandi Burruss that they need to set up Kenya’s entrance.
After all of this came out, NeNe was just about done with the friendship. And Cynthia felt like NeNe’s anger about the situation was unwarranted.
They were able to talk things out on the upcoming season, but it’s clear they will never be close friends again.
Kenya shaded Cynthia’s wine expertise after she opened a wine cellar.
In the meantime, Cynthia has remained close to Kenya.
However, some people were critical about their friendship during the latest season. Kandi felt like Kenya nearly ruined Cynthia’s engagement. Plus, Kenya was very critical of Cynthia’s wine cellar business during the group’s time in Greece.
Porsha Williams and Tanya Sam were the ones who had to let Cynthia know that Kenya was out of line. After the two women hashed it out, NeNe pointed out that Cynthia would never be so quick to forgive her for the same offense.
Regardless, Cynthia recently decided to make it clear to her followers where she stands with Kenya now.
