Cynthia was counting down the days until Mike proposed.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey was very transparent about wanting to marry Mike Hill. He’s the love of her life. And the only man that made her want to try her hand at marriage again despite her failed marriage to Peter Thomas. So when he popped the question, Cynthia was happy. The couple is set to tie the knot in October.
Interestingly enough, fans of the show have had skepticism when it comes to Mike.
On the recent season, it was revealed that Mike cheated on his two previous wives. Even Cynthia questioned what would make her so different that they wouldn’t have the same fate.
Cynthia was uneasy about Mike’s failed marriages.
Mike would go on to explain that the issue for him was he was never in love with his ex-wives. While he loved them, the passion just wasn’t there. But after he began to start writing his book, “Open Mike,” he was able to confront his own issues. And it was writing a book that also made Mike realize that he needed to get therapy if he was serious about changing his ways.
So Cynthia got a much better version of him.
However, some fans of the show weren’t so sure, especially after it became clear that Mike has a lot of female friends.
During a recent interview, Mike addressed this. And he explained why Cynthia doesn’t have to worry about his platonic relationships with other women.
