Things got really nasty between OG and Evelyn Lozada.

“Basketball Wives” wrapped up a very controversial recent season. Kristen Scott was tied up in a lot of the drama. She’s not in a good place with Cece Gutierrez and Byron Scott. Things fell apart after Kristen accused Byron of not seeing his grandaughter enough. Eventually, OG would reveal that Thomas Scott is not Bryon’s biological son. And Kristen felt like this information was weaponized by OG because they were in the middle of a nasty feud.

OG would later get into another controversial feud with Evelyn Lozada. And when things spilled over onto the internet, Evelyn’s use of a monkey emoji was labeled as racism by OG. Evelyn denied that being racist was her intent, and she slapped OG with a defamation lawsuit. OG countersued Evelyn for emotional distress.

The reunion was also very controversial. Evelyn and some of the other women refused to film with OG. They didn’t want her on the same stage as them, so OG was forced to film from another room. And she denied that it’s because she’s “too violent” like she was accused of being. OG said the real issue was colorism. She believed she was seen as more violent and aggressive because of her skin tone, and people like Evelyn have actually been more violent than she has.

Kristen was one of the people who denied that there was a colorism issue. Despite this, she did discuss her experiences with colorism recently on Instagram while she answered questions from followers.

After someone asked Kristen what physically makes her proud to be black, she wrote, “My skin! As a child, I didn’t have the best experiences being dark sin, but I never let that affect me. Instead, it made me love all of me even more ??‍♀️ ”
