Toya Bush-Harris has received criticism over the years.
“Married to Medicine” star Toya Bush-Harris is no stranger to criticism. In fact, she’s received plenty since her first season on the show. Although she and Dr. Eugene Harris seemed happy, they revealed they were battling tax debt. And once this information came out, a lot of the other cast members had a lot to say. Regardless, Eugene and Toya were able to pay off their debt. They now live in their custom-built dream house, too. Toya got her two-story closet while Eugene got the lounge area he always wanted.
Although the tax debt is an issue of the past, another thing people come for is Toya’s weight. In fact, Dr. Heavenly has shaded Toya about her body multiple times. She even received backlash last season for coming for Buffie Purselle’s weight, too.

When people accused Heavenly of forgetting about her past issues with weight, Heavenly made it clear that she doesn’t regret getting some work done to achieve her weight goals.
Interestingly enough, Toya has been focused on weight loss herself. And she’s been posting photos of her progress. While some fans of the show have congratulated Toya on her slim figure, others have been bashing her for it.
