Cynthia Bailey is suing Peter Thomas for $170,000 over the Bar One location in Atlanta.
People have always had a lot to say about Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas‘ marriage. This is especially true when it comes to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans. But one person who seemed to have the most to say at one point was Phaedra Parks. She alleged that Peter had a lot of liens due to his past business dealings. In response to this, Cynthia said that this had nothing to do with her. However, she did end up doing some business with her former husband.
In fact, they intended to run a Bar One together in Atlanta. Things did quite work out. And now Cynthia is suing Peter for $170,000 over the failed venture.
Peter Thomas feels as if Cynthia Bailey could harm his business reputation with the lawsuit.
However, Peter told Michelle Brown of Straight from the A that they agreed he wouldn’t pay her the money until January 31, 2020. So he was completely caught off guard by the lawsuit. He sees it as a “mugshot” and he said that it could hurt his business reputation moving forward. So he can’t understand why Cynthia would do this since he didn’t ask for anything during their divorce.
Peter also said that he and Cynthia didn’t have a messy breakup. So he’s not sure what even led to this.
While Cynthia hasn’t directly responded to Peter’s claims, she may have responded in a very subtle way via Instagram Story. Hours ago, she posted, “My peace is not negotiable!”
