Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas are currently in the middle of a legal battle.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey made headlines recently for marrying Mike Hill. With the couple tying the knot amid the pandemic, they received some backlash on social media. And Gizelle Bryant’s comments surely didn’t help things. However, these days Cynthia is in the headlines for her previous marriage. According to reports, Cynthia has slapped Peter Thomas with a lawsuit. She is asking for $170,000 for a Bar One location in Atlanta.
Blogger Michelle Brown of Straight from the A was the first to break the story.
On the situation, Michelle said, “Cynthia Bailey has filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband Peter Thomas. This particular lawsuit was filed prior to her marrying Mike Hill. So it was actually filed on September 22, 2020. And it involved the Bar One restaurant in Atlanta that they were joint owners of.”
Michelle went on to say that they intended to be partners of the business, however, things didn’t work out. So Cynthia wants her money, which totals $170,000.
Cynthia Bailey may have responded to the reports recently on social media.
She also said Peter is fighting the lawsuit because he doesn’t actually owe Cynthia the money until January of next year. January 31, 2021 to be exact.
Since the news has gone viral, Cynthia may have seemingly responded in a very subtle way.

I guess I’m not seeing the issue here. Cynthia owes Peter nothing. They aren’t married anymore. So what’s wrong with her going through the court to make sure she actually gets her money?

She is not wrong at all It’s her $$$ and she let him borrow it I’m sure with the promise to pay. Only a sorry poor excuse for a man would not do the right thing and give her $$$$ back. If he doesn’t nothing good will happen to him or his businesses. Just saying!!
