Dr. Imani Walker used Candiace Dillard as a way to describe 2021.

Candiace Dillard had an emotional recent season of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” Her altercation with Monique Samuels wasn’t easy for her to process. She still can’t understand why someone she used to be so close to would physically assault her. Although Monique apologized at the reunion, it was a little too late. And Candiace said she needed therapy and antidepressants to cope with what happened.

While some fans of the show have been critical of Candiace’s reaction to the situation, others have been in full support. So when they noticed that “Married to Medicine LA” star Dr. Imani Walker tweeted a photo of Candiace right after the altercation, they were upset.

It all started after Imani used the image to symbolize how intense 2021 has already been just in the first month.

In the tweet, Imani wrote, “New 2021 Mascot.”

Dr. Imani Walker responded to the backlash.

When some of her followers agreed and laughed, Imani wrote, “We’re all getting collectively dragged.”

However, Candiace’s fans began dragging Imani. They took the tweet as a personal jab at Candiace. In response to this, Imani wrote, “Y’all are really confused. It’s a photo of a public figure used to demonstrate how difficult this year is. Using gifs to do the same is no different. I’m going to work now but good luck with finding issues where there are none. Trick a*s b*tch.”

After her mentions got even worse, Imani wrote, “I’m really not dissing Candiace. I do not know her. I met her once and she was nice. I think you all are confused about what true disrespect is. Trust me that when I disrespect you, you’ll definitely know ? .”
