There have been a lot of opinions about Mariah Huq’s exit.
“Married to Medicine” star Mariah Huq will not be on the upcoming season. After she revealed she didn’t receive a contract for season 8, some of her supporters were outraged. So they created a petition that encouraged people to boycott Bravo. The creators of the petition are also in support of NeNe Leakes.
Mariah did an interview in which she made a lot of accusations. She alleged that the production company behind the show, Purveyors of Pop, allegedly told her that she couldn’t wear her hijab while filming her green screen interviews. She also believes that the drug accusations made by Quad Webb were used to push her off the show.
And when it comes to the spinoff shows, Mariah alleged that she was not allowed to be involved. She also claimed that her contract stated that she would be a part of the spinoffs. So she was ready to hit Purveyors of Pop with a lawsuit.
She also didn’t like the fact that none of the other women of “Married to Medicine” spoke up for her.
Well, season 8 includes the return of Kari Wells and Lisa Nicole Cloud. And recently, Kari threw a little shade at Mariah.
