Toya Bush-Harris talks about obstacles in her marriage.
When it comes to transparency, viewers receive plenty of that with the cast of “Married to Medicine.” Over the years, the cast has been pretty open about the ups and downs of their marriages. Most of the couples have been able to work through their issues. However, Quad Webb and Dr. Greg Lunceford went through with a divorce. And on the upcoming season, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Toya Bush-Harris both had to come to terms with their marriage problems.
Toya addressed this in an interview with Fox Soul. After Claudia Jordan asked her what viewers would see from Toya’s family on the upcoming season, Toya said, “You’re gonna see a lot because my sons, they were…it was a transition for them. We had moved from the Buckhead area to Alpharetta. And I changed their school and so that was a lot for me because I thought I was making some good decisions. Found out some things. And then Covid just revealed a lot that was going on within the neighborhood.”
She continued, “You know, my husband, he’s a hard worker. But he tends to take a lot on his plate, as usual. But it always affects our marriage in some way. But filming is always very difficult when your marriage is being affected, especially with Covid. It was just…that was very difficult for us. It was just something that we have never faced.”
