On the recent episode of “Basketball Wives,” the ladies continue to share their feelings about OG’s conversation with Kristen. Their talk about colorism didn’t go well. And both women felt like the other didn’t hear them out. While OG is adamant she experienced colorism, Jennifer says she can’t relate. So Evelyn and the others are starting to feel like the door to rekindling with Jennifer isn’t shut for good. As for OG, she reveals a past moment from childhood is something that still hurts her.

Sisters Nia and Noria make their debut to the show. And they also lost a loved one from Covid. Their father passed away from it suddenly and it’s been hard for them to cope. One of the toughest parts about his death is they weren’t allowed to visit him at the hospital.

The passing of their father is something Jennifer relates to. She’s still hurting from her mother’s death.

Malaysia begins to soften up on hashing things out with Jackie. So she tells Evelyn she wants Jackie to come over so they can confront their past issues. However, the tension between them is still thick.

Here’s a recap for, “Episode 4.”

Are y’all not sick of these ladies? All they do is lie! Delete scenes that should really been seen, yep they are guilty of the colorist accusations and it’s sad that they are acting like OG is making sh-t up……. I hope this is the last season of them so that they can fade into oblivion…..grown a-s idiots and most of them got kids…..SMDH!

I’m sick of OG and the colorism. It’s clear she’s making things up because when she talked with Kristen who’s the same complexion as her then she said your nose is smaller , girl bye blah blah blah. Cancel the whole dame show by now. It’s boring at this point.

that’s the point. featurism. OG is a darkskin black woman with thick lips, big nose and thick. Thus her afro centric features are criticized and demonized over Kristen’s. Don’t play dumb.

The only person who needs to think OG is attractive is OG. I don’t think I’ve ever met a person in life no matter what the race who hasn’t been called ugly by somebody who didn’t like them. Who cares? It’s ridiculous to see a black woman in her 30s on a television show about women being catty towards each other for a check crying because someone she doesn’t even like or respect said she was ugly. I thought OG was a confident black woman when she first came on the show. Now all she does is cry and be a victim. Evelyn is not worth all these tears and emotions. OG needs thicker skin to get through life. Caring about what people who don’t like you think about you is a quick way to have a nervous breakdown. This season is trash. And if this storyline continues, I’ll have to let the show go.

The most colorist and featurist thing said about OG was said by Cece when she said OG is ugly and looks like a man. Why did OG and her supporters ignore this?

Shaunie is a light skinned woman and gets criticized for her nose on a regular basis by the majority of this fan base. Is it also featurism when she’s called Nostrils on Twitter and IG? Matter of fact, I’ve seen quite a bit of OG’s fans going in on other black women’s looks all the time. But now they are woke, right?

You do relize that Black women are discriminated against based on their facial features?? Basically OG has a point smh

OG needs to stop caring what people who don’t like her think about her. It’s pathetic. She’s really on TV crying and dragging out the fact that someone who isn’t even a decent person said she was ugly. And the fact that all this really started over Chad, a man who has a past assaulting multiple women, just goes to show you how weak some women are. Evelyn and OG should both be ashamed of themselves. You got Evelyn’s goofy a-s on one side trying to prove her ex who head-butted her years ago doesn’t want OG. And then you have OG, who has a man of her own, on the other side trying to prove that said abusive man wanted to sleep with her because Evelyn’s goofy a-s called her ugly. Now instead of people watching the show and picking up on how pathetic all this is and how ridiculous these people are, people are picking teams. Both Evelyn and OG lose in my opinion. Women need to stop seeking approval/valuation from men and each other. Love yourself! Everyone won’t think you’re all that and a bag of chips. The only opinion that matters is your own!

I really want to be empathetic and understanding because I am also a dark skin person, but, I also think that her child trauma is affecting her ability to socialized with others. It’s almost like she wants everyone to hate on people that are lighter than her.
She needs help, she needs to get therapy! Sometimes when you are so traumatized you see things in a very different perspective.
When she said what she said to Kristin it made me believe that the problem is not about color, it’s about her looks.
I don’t think a person is less beautiful because of the color of their skin, it’s more about personality and OG has a very ugly personality.
Look at Lupita Nyong’o she is dark and gorgeous!! and she does not have an “European look” either!!! so OG needs to get help to learn how to cope with her trauma instead of being so hateful!

Poor OG. Having to go through such an experience at a young age and then having to go through it again is traumatizing. My heart and help lies with OG.

OG makes me sick. I don’t like her. She would be ugly even if she was light skin… She has a funky attitude and why is she on the show.

Amen! that’s what i said! Your attitude dictated your looks!
      You are what you speak!

As I’ve said before, the people who were the most critical of OG’s looks and heritage she gave a pass to (Cece and Tami). OG is taking a serious issue and weaponizing it against the people she doesn’t like. I see right through her.

No one can really say what OG is feeling or why. I think the reason she sees it at colorism is because when Eveilen, Tami, Sundai, Jackie, Malayasia, and some others have actually put their hands on,shoved, thrown tables and bottles and not one of them has been to dangerous to film with or sit next to. She is the only one straight from Africa, where people are concerned more dangerous, and she has broader features.. OG has talked about doing things, but it has been all talk. I think that is why she sees it as colorism. Her words, and not her actions are held to a different standard.
Personally, I think they are just scared that she can beat the brakes off them.

Everyone has the right to feel the way they want! But, when someone tries to validated your feelings and be empathetic to what you are going thru and you just use that as an excuse to continue being angry then, you need to check yourself! Kristen wanted to acknowledge her feelings and instead, OG said that it was not about feelings! Someone in this threat said “Everyone has been called ugly by someone that did not like them once in their lives” and that is so true so, OG knows exactly what she is doing!… she knows that one of the main issues this days in society is race and color so, she has to used that to her advantage, most of the people that are ruling for her had experience colorism. But, what I think she needs to do is used this as a learning topic, if she is traumatized, then get help! because she will be having children one day and we need to teach our kids to be resilient and to be in touch with their feelings. If I am gonna run to my room and cry every time I get call a name or feel discriminated against then ima be in my room all day!
She needs to find another story line, cause i am tired of the same one!
